Any collaborations in the works? Or would you even need them?

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Would this have any serious competitors?

Who are they?

I mean competitors buildings a bookmarker dapp, not businesses like Pinnacle and Betfair, that are dying/antiquated business models.

How about this question though?

Are we allowed to propose marketing strategies that might work, even if you don't have a bounty for them specifically already set up?

Has anybody from the team run through the legal nightmare of running a bookmaker, in the past? I hear it's quite a challenge.

Hi Celestio, thanks for the great question. We've looked at partnering with emerging companies in the eSports space as that is a area that's getting a lot of media attention. Truthfully, while it is a rapidly growing sport, it is still just breaking through to be one of the main sports we offer on our existing platform, https://fansunite.com/. We expect that to remain the case for the real money sportsbook, https://fansunite.io/.

We are, however, collaborating with an extremely reputable group in the sports betting industry which will greatly enhance our machine learning capabilities and aid us in effectively welcoming winners and arbitragers. That news will be released this week in all likelihood.

Hi, sorry, I did not mean to neglect any question.  There are a few others that are in this space, though we do feel like we provide a stronger and different offering. I'm not going to disparage any of the other ventures as there is more than enough space in this industry for all of us. I will name a few, and you can look into them and ask me questions about them compared to us if you would like:

Hi deeltje, please do! We will take any proposals into consideration, much like we will in the continued development of the platform, and when the full platform is deployed. We are always open to talking to the community and considering and executing their suggestions where possible. We'd love to hear from you regarding any marketing strategies you may have!

Great question earthcoin! Personally, I have not proceeded through the legal gauntlet of running a sportsbook, though I've been involved on the perimeter of gaming law.  I have extensive experience with blockchain and digital asset related files. However, we've strategically partnered with two key law firms:

Segev LLP - a law-firm based out of Vancouver that specializes in iGaming law and has experience with daily fantasy, sports betting and poker platforms. Segev LLP has helped, through their network, numerous betting and poker companies obtain the necessary licenses and remain compliant.

ISOLAS - a prominent firm in the cryptocurrency space and has advised several large token sales recently, including clients in the gaming space. They have a good relationship with the requisite gaming authorities in Gibraltar.

Both firms are integral to us adhering to all applicable regulatory authorities and will play a significant role in our ability to secure gaming licenses moving forward.

It will be a tipster heaven. But good tipsters make most of their money through betting, not through selling picks. That's because they can't have too many followers, since the followers that wouldn't bet asap would get worse odds, more than enough to put them on a minus long-term.

Yes, you are very correct. That is one reason we set up FansUnite - to combat tipsters selling their picks and the resulting loss of value to followers. We agree that the odds will most likely shift if many popular tipsters are on one side of a line, which may very well set up opportunities on the other side. Moreover, from our experience in operating FansUnite.com, we have seen that there is often the case that members with large followings end up on opposite sides of a bet from time to time.

Our initial lines will always be better than those offered at other online sportsbooks. Our lines will adjust for exposure on a given market, however. It is still possible, and very likely, that our closing lines will also be better for the individual.

How many tipsters are actually on a profit? Is the percentage statistically relevant?

Oh, I have so many suggestions. I've honestly had an account with all the tipping platforms in existence, including yours. I'll get in contact.
