Normal for overclocking too much maybe.  In the Hardware comparison chart, link below, 1150Mhz is the highest listed so it may be too high for your particular card.  Drop your clock in 5MHhz, or so, increments to see when the hardware errors stop.

I Bitcoin mine and I have 0 Hardware Errors.  I have no idea about alt coins, but I would go for 0 unless someone more knowledgeable says otherwise.

I have one of five 7970s mining BTC that throws HW errors.  I backed the engine down to 1140/990mem (from 1145/995), turned power tune to 0 (down from 5), and intensity to 7 (down from 10) and get less errors, but still get at least 1 HW error per 100 shares.  About four times a day that cards gets sick and cgminer has to be restarted.

I've gotten the HW errors reduced, but am still letting that card mine until it has to be restarted.  I haven't tried applying new thermal paste.  I have tried it in multiple rigs with different risers, with no change in HW errs.  I'm considering backing it down a little more to 1135/895.  I'd return it for warranty, but don't want to be without it, so I'm living with the errs.

Not really.  I run sapphire 7950 at 1025/1375 (scrypt) or 1250/50 (sha), I get 620 kh/s and 635 Mh/s, not sure why you only getting
606.  I get 0 hw errors.  Are you cooling the cards properly?

If you are using 3 or less cards, I recommend Coolmaster HAF cases.  My cards never go over 75C with fans below 3500rpm.

Scrypt is more stress on the whole system.  I burned 24 pin connector on one motherboard. Pulls too much power.  Hard to cool down.
Bitcoin is running cool, little power and about the same profit.
I use the stock cooler,the temperature is 63,with no case,power limit + 20 %,but i use a 850 w corsair  power supply,fan is at 2500 rpm. Now it's at 610 khs for scrypt,but perhaps there are too hw...

power limit + 20 %

What does that mean?

63C is a great temp.  Anywhere 60C to 75C is a good temp.

I would lower clock till hardware errors go away.

The power limit is the power board li,i set it to 20. I read that you can lower the mem clock, but i tried to do it,and i was getting lower hashrate

You can lower the memory clock for BTC mining.

No you can't.  Litecoin needs the RAM and as fast access as possible to it.  Or so I've heard, I don't mine alt coins.
