not for long, eth is going to upgrade and that would make it much faster, fees will go down a lot.

Waiting to experience that, I hope eBTC will also benefit in the event there is a big rise of value.
ETH has been doing well lately, this is normal but not so hype this year, not seeing a hype is alright with me because it's a real development and I would only expect an increment after the upgrade.

On screenshot it says eBTC was very first ''e'' token , not true there is few that was made like 1 year before eBTC . Im not a fan of eBTC as there were plenty of situations where devs of this token created FUD and price manipulation . Not sure whats happening now with this token , but the idea was nice at start , unfortunatly devs was greedy so i left

Seeing long periods of gaps between posts and absence of new team from the thread don't know what to believe. They should have been highly active to show presence even if they dodn't have anything to share but showing up can change the perspective. I returned to this thread after long time just to see those claimed made by new team has been delivered or not yet but here is nothing on regular basis.

Long periods of gaps between posts and absence of new team simply means the token is dead. Just let it go, it was fun last year when this was all the rage, now not so much.

I agree with you. Now many tokens are already dead. Some tokens will die soon. It seems to me that most of the former projects will never return. Of course, this does not apply to large tokens such as ETH or BTC. But projects from the past are unlikely to regain the capitalization that was 2 years ago.

You should check out their Telegram channel though. I do not feel the need to present myself as the eBTC spokesman or defender, on the contrary, I have proven in the past to support this project with quite a critical attitude - just read my posts in this thread from the last months.

However, there's still some things to consider.

There's a new website, with a new roadmap, which have been launched in recent days. There's a "new" team working for almost a year now behind the scenes to get this back on track. At least, that's what they claim on their Telegram channel. They are by the way very active on Telegram and constantly communicating and answering questions.

And last but not least, the "Independent eBTC community channel" on Telegram was closed down on March 31st 2019, because they do not see the need for an independent channel any longer, since they believe in the new dev team. Looks like a very good sign to me.

Do all these points give us a reason to celebrate? Of course not. We've heard a lot of these promises from a lot of projects which simply died or were scams and which abused our trust, money and hopes.

However, I see no problem in giving this dev team at least the benefit of the doubt. In the end: what have we got to lose? We are at scratch right now. Bottom has been reached anyway, and the only way out - if any - is the way up.

So to conclude: yup, we all have huge doubts about this. But to call the project "dead" would be intellectually incorrect.

It was just a hype project with no future. Now it’s hard to believe the development team because they don’t show the results of their work over the past 8-10 months. Just a little chatter in telegram. I envy those who sold this token for $2.

I was one of the people that got the airdrop and dumped at $1 before the first dev left. I told everybody this shit was garbage and going nowhere... but apparently nobody listened

I think that everything in this project will be fine. Bitcoin did not immediately cost as much as it costs now. It will take time for the project to regain power.

For some reason I very much doubt the success of this project, there is a persistent feeling that they do not know what to do next. There is no specific goal, everything is very blurry. They recently tried to up the price with the appearance of the previous leader Gio, but something went wrong.
