I think there are no concrete evidence or code that is existing or could be running within the desktop browsers as we recently heard from sites that is revenued by ads and so they'll make some money in behalf of ads but if it is possible then how would they run mining though most of desktop has a minimum of computing power?

They're using javascript, yes it is very slow, but imagine what thousands of ants could do. They'll build a large house thing that I don't know what's called in English. It's like a botnet, more computers = more power. It has been tested and the numbers shows that using this new mining script generates less revenue than Google Adsense. The webpage also tends to crash on my phone.

Yes there is a website which offer to mine through web browser, but I wouldn't call it mining.
It's not worth at all, as you can get more satoshi through faucets and you may have to pay more for electricity than what you will earn.
There is no easy way to mining, you need super computer and powerful gpu to build a mining rig, or you can spend so much money into cloud mining and deal with the risk until you get ROI in 4-6 months.

Yes your right, Freebitco launches their own mining function through computer browser though it is still in beta phase, we can see that they have a great idea implementing internet mining or browser mining. It requires your desktop CPU and a stable internet to mine bitcoin in their faucet, already tried it but you can just earn some few satoshi. I think my Computer specs sucks that's why.

There is "Bitcoin miner" in Windows store (only for windows 10). Very easy to use. Tap in an adr. and run.
Gives you about 1000-1500 sat a day, whether you use a core2, core3, core5 or core7. Does not seem to be many sat difference between these.

You are right bro. Freebitco.in enabled that feature to test run it for some days and now they have removed it again. I mined and got few coins there.

Yes absolutely  Cheesy

https://thehackernews.com/2017/09/pirate-bay-cryptocurrency-mining.html

pretty nice concept, using the visitors CPU instead of showing ads to generate revenue if it is limited to ~20% of your total CPU.
Soon there might be miningblockers alongside adblockers  Cheesy

If you are trying to mine bitcoin in your browser, don´t.

1) mine altcoins
2) don´t mine in a browser but download a minersoftware.

[could be your ad]

Forget about that, it's not profitable anymore and focus on something else.
Most of online faucets or browser mining are scams so don't trust them. If you have money and low electricity cost, buy some rigs and start mining by yourself.
Mining these days is being done by big companies that invest alot of money that's why it is hard to compete with them.

I heard that freebitco.in is a trusted faucet site and always pays me. Now, they provide a passive mining using our browser. I don't know how that work but when I see, it looks like pretty simple. Hardware is the most important factor, of course. But you are right about building rigs.

We need to build a powerful computer so that we can mine better. Not just better, but real and profitable. I don't know anything about the browser mining, is it better than faucet ? I think hardware is the number one. So we better invest our money for building a GPU miner.

Freebitco offer to mining through we browser but you need a high-end super computer and stable internet connection, but it seems inconvenience.
Personal computer without good hardware to mining bitcoin will not enough, you need ASIC hardware to mining and it costs thousands of dollars. So, I do not recommend to run your computer for hours and let a site to take advantage from your internet connection and browser.

In theory you can mine through your browser, but you will get nothing out of it. You can earn a few cents a day at best and you will spend more than that on electricity and your computer will be basicaly unusable because of high CPU load.
So in shortest: You can, but don't. Wink

The way I see it is that it is more of a faucet rather than real mining though admittedly I have not made some serious research into this thing and who knows if there can be new development allowing us to do crypto mining using just the usual browser we usually have on our PC or any gadget. Anyway, the concept of browser mining is really good but as of now there is no proven infrastructure for it. Hope something good can be done on this idea, though.

I think is not wise to mine using browser it gives a little hashpower and it turns your computer very slow so i advice use mining rig in mining to make a good earning

Hi

Are there any websites I can mine via a browser?
There are but I do not really consider that mining. Sure, they can give you some satoshis daily if you have a free system without really doing much but consider electricity except you are not the one paying for it.

You can even download some apps running some javascript for mining or use freebitco.in that started their testing phase recently and see if it can work up to your expectation. Google should give you more details of what you want. For freebitco.in, you might want to consider using a system with a very good processor.

You can not really mine from your browser, what you can do is to mine using clouds like Hashnest connecting to them by a browser. When you mine with a computer you mine with its CPU (or GPU), not with a browser.

You can however use some browser websites that say they will mine for you. There are some good reputation Cloud Hasing Farms where you rent hashing power and also some other Cloud Hashing Farms that come and go after some weeks. These can give you a certain profit if you are consequent in your endevours.

I can't do with this old pc. Mine via browser ? i never find a profitable place, except cloud mining with long time to reach ROI. But freebitco like other people talk around here who is based on faucet it's not profitable to mine on pc, untill now i know only freebitco the only i know except web who has already connected with the software like contellect
