and if installing the new wallet, all I need is just to back up the wallet.dat and not any other files?

yes you need just to re install your windows wallet , and keep your wallet.dat

Just reinstalled (without uninstall from old version) and re run wallet. still cannot sync, stop at 3 days old behind.

delete peers.dat from ..AppData\Roaming\Madcoin and re run your wallet , if you see 0 hours behind that mean your wallet is sync.

if you see 0 hours behind that mean your wallet is up to date and you can work normaly, if you want to fix that add this lane in madcoin.conf
maxconnections=1
