Korea gov is friendly with USA gov so I think they will just control ICO. not ban it. many good ICO from USA still coming
Sooner or later, a govt will regulate ICOs not ban at all, because a new start up will grow with ICO model as the fund raising instead of borrowing money from banks. Govt can get benefit by taxing ICos and new start ups will be a drad new employments in the field. I think no reasons to ban ICO at all

If this is true. It means ICO they want to regulate the number of altcoins now. Which is good for the crypto industry.

This is really a good step to the crypto industry. There is really nothing to be feared of about ICO regulation because it is much needed. This a way to make the reputation of ICO great again. I just hope that the prices will not be affected though. But I can see that the prices are intact in general including Bitcoin's.
If there is a regulation on ICO of course the ico list that will be present will be less because they will certainly face on certain conditions and rules? but of course it has risks and  negative effects. if you know how a tender is won by a particular company in a country or how one passes their project out of government regulations. they bribed the government to get them out of certain terms and rules. I'm afraid this happens to ico. when ico is given regulation.  many bribery and corruption ?

Yes but that would be awesome, because bitcoin will then fall very hard to 1000 dollars something like that. If that happens the dumb people will sell their coins in order to save their money they think. But the smart ones will save their bitcoin. Bitcoin will hit 50k dollars i would then be rich. Yes

What it says is "Korea will ban any kind of ICO." It is official from the Government.

Recall what happened when China banned all the ICO.

Yes Korea government will ban all of kind of ico but South Korean Startups Are Preparing To Fight The Government's ICO Ban https://www.forbes.com/sites/elaineramirez/2017/10/03/south-korean-startups-are-preparing-for-war-against-ico-ban/#11c462f72868
Should be the Korea government listen their people on there and find the best solution for it, due to it will being to difficulty ban the people of Korea investment in the ico or they can ban internet connection too. Cheesy

it is very dangerous if korea prohibits ico as well,
it can be neighboring countries of other neighbors follow like china

That's not good news at all because if this chain continues to grow then don't forget there big and heavily populated ciuntry next to china and Korea and its none but India! I believe India is having lot of investors involved into the bitcoin. If they can have billion billion dollars in black money according to last years economy then for sure big investors are might be all into bitcoin. If India bans the ICO thing which they will because they might not be wanting anymore chaos within the country then it could fluctuate the bitcoin market really bad. That will be hard to digest really. Hope this chain discontinues at Korea only and rest of the world accept everything in proper way.

If korea goverment ban all kinds of ico, we must be prepared that price of coins will fall and investors will be less.

We must brace ourselves for the upcoming dump, something like that? I say, that just keep on doing what you used to do because it will become normal soon.

Like what happened to China, because of those news the price went down by almost $1,000 and now it was back again at $4,200. There will be some possible decrease to it's price but who knows because of this news many will take chance to buy at dip.

Thats right. I think the government will begin to consider the benefits to be gained when they can set ico and provide regulation on ico.it is a form of the advancement of the times? so the government will not be able to withhold and of course their choice is only one. that is gives regulation to ICO..

I think there will be some effect on the market performance, but not too long since there are many advantages from the cyrpto market, so as you can see, the Chinese government has ban the ICO for more than one month, the market seem to be recovered.

yes that is a fact that japan is giving a good support to bitcoin and hope that they will continue it for a long long time. I do not think that if a single country will effect the image of bitcoin. In fact now bitcoin is the best currency of the world and is spreading throughout the world in a best way. Therefore bitcoin is becoming more and more stronger with the passage of time.

Hmm...I just hope this guessing won't suddenly become a reality.
Most people will keep on saying that China does not really have an effect on crytocurrency as a whole; but I will like to say that they do have a great impact on it. Let's believe it or not.
