Altcoin trading is the high risk game in this if you properly analysize and trade then you can earn very nicely. But the main point to be remembered is to never lover any coin and when ever you are in profit immediately book it. Dont think of it may go more high as when their is price pump then it is sure that it will also get dump. What ever value of project the coin holds it but it will surely get dumped also. so when ever you are in profit start to sell the coins and book profit.

Now only some flipping investors will be win in ICOs since 90% startups are failing then you have to rethink strategy imo in investing. No NEO or ETH is safe in investing in ICO.
Trading on rising market is quite easy and was to easy. Now you have any skams that can give you -100% income. So you have to be away of BIG  RISK

It is truly profitable but it takes too much effort and time. It mostly doesn't worth your time. Is it good to gain like 2 dollars in 5 minutes? Yes it is. But some other people were making 200 dollars in 5 mins. Just comparing makes you realize it doesn't worth your time if your budget is low. But long time holding is of course good.

Keep in mind about buy volume (is it increasing or decreasing, etc.), general activity of selected community, length of period you want stay in and if you really want to dig in, get yourself involved in projects and become an active part of chosen community.

From my experience I am giving some important strategy for trading alt coins for good returns below :
  First of all you should start a trade only when you know why you are starting a trade and have a clear strategy for taking that trade so that u follow that completely.Second important thing is target and stop mean when U starting a trade U must have clear target level for taking profit and more importantly, a stop loss level for cutting losses. A Stop loss is setting the level of your loss where the trade will get closed, this will save your big loss.To be a profitable trader, you never look for the peak of the movement. You look for the small profits that will accumulate into a big one, this way your profit will rise slowly but steady.Other main important thing to mind that Trade with no pressure, Don’t start trading unless you have the optimal conditions to make the decision to start a trade and know when and how to get out of it. Pressure almost always creates losing trades. Wait for the next opportunity, you will get there.there are days where you only keep your profits by not trading at all.

Trading altcoins is absolutely truly profitable there is so many altcoins that good to trading but there is not good to trading. Get profit from trading that's depend on altcoin you trading, the altcoin must be good and have big volume. Usually trading altcoin who have big volume is more profitable.

I am not one of the best traders but I usually have some sort of a strategy every time I make a trade, and I usually have a few things to look at before consider investing in a coin, such as circulating supply.

I don't want invest in a coin that is having more than 50 million coins circulating.The strategy that I use is buy when its low and sell when its higher. Never sell for a loss.

Trade altcoin is not always profitable even if you are experienced people. Sometime we have wrong decision that make us lost of money.
For me, swing trade is better than short trade. Most likely the people did long term than short trade.

It has been proven that long term investors will generally do better than traders.

I look for the team behind the project first, then the underlying tech to make sure that what they're trying to do is feasible. I then invest in the coin and wait, which is much less stressful than trading (for me anyway).

If the price goes down, I look at it as an opportunity to buy more because my due diligence in the team and project gave me confidence that it will go back up and then some in time.
