For all of your die-hard Altcoin traders out there, share some input on your experiences or strategies you may have implemented/utilized to find success. I myself have had my fair share of dumb luck (knock on wood) but i'm interested to hear what some of you legends have to say.
I'm not a die hard altoin traders out there. But true that trading altcoin was a really a profitable things, because ever since I started here I got my profit through altcoin campaign, after the ico and distribute the bounty token we participants are able to trade it in accordance to the exchange were the coin is listed then once being sold I got my bitcoin profit of course. |

The best strategy is the one you make. Even it is unprofitable you will learn a great deal in the process. My personal strategy is pretty straightforward. I look for quick dips(Qick dips can lead to quick spikes) in alternative coins with 1 million in trading volume in a day. Qick dips lead to quick spikes Invest. Take profit. |

it is definently profitable but at same time it is very risky too. if you dont know mechanics of trading you shouldn't. you should search indicators and learn them

altcoin trading the risk are equal to the profit especially if you're trading with new altcoin because we don't really know the future of those altcoins and if you pick the exact altcoins then to double your profit is not impossible and the best for altcoin trading is sometimes altcoin price could grow more than 50% in the same day but the problem is the price for the particular altcoin too will dropped to the bottom with very fast

Pick something that is always making a ruckus in the trading discussions.
ETH, LTC and bitcoin are the ones who are always on the front page and this could be a key to trading.
If those news could somehow manipulate people's mind then the waves will come over and over again.

Yes, if you do altcoin trading with basic knowledge and fundamentals,you always get profit. Greedy people always take losses as they never cut their trade in less profit and when their trade comes in deep losses, they cut their trade to save their money to reduce more. If you satisfy with 10-15% per month, then you never get loss in any month but if your target is 100% or more per month, you always got loss because you never cut your trade in low profit.

I'm not sure, but I think altcoin trading is a form of making money that can make a lot of profit, even a lot. I have seen many people succeed with it. Of course you will have to have knowledge of it, learn the experience and skills of the predecessors to choose the right decision. The strategy and plan outlined is also very necessary. My strategy is not to let emotion decide decisions, do not buy rush, only trade top 10 altcoins have the largest trading volume of the day and not trade margin

I am earning good through altcoin trading. I have a telegram bot that notifies me if a buy volume of any coin increases suddenly. Added to that I am in some channels that give signals after a thorough research. After that I analyze suggested coin myself. That analysis is based upon any future announcement or news by the company which can increase the demand of their coin. By far I am making profit through my analysis. Of course you can't be always lucky. But the loss isn't major if you have analysed a particular coin properly.

Altcoin trading is something which I haven't done for the past 1-2 years. But when I started collecting Bitcoins in 2012, I was involved a lot in altcoin trading. But then it was relatively easy. There were only a few altcoins around, such as Litecoin, Namecoin and Novacoin.

I think it is! it depends on the phase and hype but i think it is a great way of making good money from home. of course you shouldnt just buy any coin and hope it will go up! I wouldn't advise joining pump and dump groups though... you're just losing money to people who cheat with special programs...

There are lots of altcoin traders on here which you can really expect to have some words on here which this kind of trading is really profitable but somehow risky if you dont have knowledge on buying such coins. Its really hard to explain on how traders do trade since we do have different kind of ways on how to execute orders and choosing our own coin. |

Long-term investing (holding) and trading are both profitable. You just need to master it and I believe that anyone can do that. Yes, it takes time but it can get in return a lot of money.

Im not an expert when it comes to trading but I would it is really profitable can even yield atleast 20- up to hundred percent profit in one day but that is if you know which is the right alt to buy in the right time.

Altcoins trading is all about being at the right place at the right time. I prefer long term HODLING of my altcoins rather than engaging in short term trading due to the extreme volatility of this market. HODL all the way and I am sure that we can huge profits.

Because this is a strategy very common for day trader, you can earn small profits every orders, but specialy is you can repeat many times and earn extra profits untill the trend of that coin ended. |

Sure thing. Trading altcoins is profitable when you are experienced in the alt markets.There are so many alt coins out there so it's much more easier now to profit by doing fast buy&sell s. Because when you look closer you can always find a coin to buy or sell. Diversity is a golden treasure in trading.

Yes, I think so. I trade altcoin for couple of months and I earn some money with profit. In my little experience there is no doubt that Altcoin Trading is really profitable.

I've tried, but I can't make the magic happen though. I'm either on a small loss or a very small profit, on the altcoins I've invested. They should be quite profitable though, because on some pumps I see gains of 200% on the last 24h, and that is just huge. I never managed to gt anything like that though. Maybe I'm not good enough, or maybe it's just a matter of luck. |

Trade altcoin is not always profitable even if you are experienced people. Sometime we have wrong decision that make us lost of money.
For me, swing trade is better than short trade. Most likely the people did long term than short trade.
If you are really into hardcore trading,you could always make profitable trading if you are careful and if you invest in good coins and especially when the market is down and most of the coins will recover when the market recovers,patience is the real key here and having a knowledge about the coin you are investing and keeping in touch with the development team is also the most important part if you are looking to make a good profit |
