I was going through your whitepaper and I came across complex terms difficult for me to understand. Can you briefly explain what do Lucyd glasses actually do?
Hey, Lucyd is an augmented reality startup developing next-gen smartglasses and blockchain app store. For this we are crowdfunding the project to build the first prototype, which will be available in early 2019. Check out this video for the Lucyd lens interface simulation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0P7Gx9VsEU

Yes! So far we've attended Blockchain Expo North America, Cryptocurrency World Expo, LATAM Bitcoin & Blockchain conference and CoinAgenda Summit. There are 7 more upcoming conferences that we will be participating in!

Do you plan to bring anymore advisors on?
It is quite possible, we have been expanding the team quite steadily. Possible AR experts and folks helping us grow the business across the world - we have just added managers for Japan and Europe.

Hey guys, Lucyd is getting amazing mainstream media press lately. Our PR efforts have been paying off and are reflected in an accelerated pace of purchases as well! We are on the front page of Disruptor Daily, top tech disruption website out there: https://www.disruptordaily.com/lucyd-startup-building-future-wearable-ar/What are the top three tech trends you're seeing in AR? #Tech Trend 1: We believe that AR will become more widely adopted once a smartglass can fit the form of standard spectacles. Eyeglasses were first introduced in 1290, in Pisa, Italy. For more than 700 years, people have embraced the current eyeglass design motif to correct their vision and as a fashion accessory. Due to its nature as a facial wearable, smartglasses need to be lightweight and highly customizable, both features that Lucyd technology enables. #Tech Trend 2: Increasing enhanced field of view (EFV), the AR-supported scope, to be able to support all or most of the user’s natural visual field. For smartglasses to go mainstream, first and foremost, they must be good glasses available in a wide variety of frame styles. Smartglasses are not a traditional consumer electronics product like a wearable exercise monitor or a smartwatch, but rather an evolutionary leap in current eyeglasses. This is necessary for intelligent positioning of real and virtual objects in the visual field. #Tech Trend 3: Hands free control of smartglasses with microphones and bone conducting speakers to leverage artificial intelligence tools like Siri, Google Voice and Alexa.

I recall watching one of the episodes of Black Mirror and this could be the start of it, eyeglasses then eventually contact lenses like HUD's.

Enhanced user power through Augmented Reality makes life more convenient and productive while mobile. Unlike other existing augmented reality products. This project offers us to have to do more while having less, surpassing bulky and unwanted-attention-drawing products nowadays. Making a more efficient and convenient platform for both professional and entertainment's sake. Offering the AR Community a more advanced approach, able to handle complex applications while giving concern as well to our physiological state, having high caliber individuals putting together team effort plus a mind blowing idea. These next generation smartglasses will take over the market. It's smart for Lucyd to support the handsfree computing community; because as what we can obviously foresee. AR is the future.

Yes, ideally futuristic figures play on AR's potential, last year I attended a Developer's Convention held at Davao City. Augmented reality was one of the hot topic discussed by the lecturers. Potentially if Lucyd really pull this off. This will be huge, because as what we can see. AR indeed is the future. I just read the whitepaper and I was amazed by how you guys putting effort and energy to this project. If I have some eth now I'd invest in this project. As an IT student; I find this project surreal. Damn, AR's hot. Good luck Lucyd. I hope you take over the market soon! Hands free computing community would be so proud. All the best!

It's absolutely the future. AR is a natural next step in how humans process digital information. The next natural step is for digital information to interact naturally with real objects in real life! This article talks great deal about future of AR: https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/whats-the-future-of-augmented-reality_us_5a5a7ccae4b01ccdd48b5cfb"Imagine someone telling you that in less than ten years you won’t own a smartphone. It’s a hard pill to swallow considering the unprecedented adoption of smartphones since their debut in the mid 90s. While smartphones have experienced a meteoric rise over the last couple decades, there is always bigger and better. In this case, ‘bigger and better’ is smaller, faster, and fits right over your eyes. We’re talking about augmented reality (AR) smart glasses"

What an exciting project and amazing concept. Out of interest, how can we keep tabs on how much has been invested towards the total requirement ? I hope to invest towards the end of the month and likely early next month and don't want to miss out. Where can things be monitored regarding the sale ? Thank you.

Hey! Thank you for your kind words. We're tracking the live token sales on our website, there is a counter with tokens sold! https://www.lucyd.co/We are just getting over 3 million tokens sold, and the pace has been picking up every day for last 20 or so days!

I don’t trying to be negative here, just a question : Dont you think other companies, like sony, samsung and nvidia will make this better, just because they have more money, more skilled specialists etc.?

Foreseeing what's gonna take over the future is something people are afraid to do. Such a big step for the computing community; but hey, isn't it what we're really looking forward into? Everybody speaks about being into another platform or dimension whenever they talk about the future ( like flying cars and stuff ) but then there it is, wide and plain. Lucyd's really putting the milestones to another level of humanity. May the god of progress be with you guys.

Can we see the open sourced code on github to know how well the tech team is? It would be useful for software engineers for example who want to invest in a tech company.
