I am reading your whitepaper on the website and cannot understand about the project. Could you simplify what's it about in some words? Thank you

How much money do you plan to collect through the ICO? What will the money be used for?

The cost elements making up our hard carp requirements are comprised of developing the design of the pre-manufacturing prototype, electro optical engineering firm, industrial design firm, business development, developers to work with us on basic firmware to display apps on the glasses, operating cash flows: working capital (salaries etc).

Are there any conferences or showcase of your team members where we can actually meet and discuss with the team?

Plenty of them. Right now we are in London through this week, then on Jan 29th-30th will be in Amsterdam.

Part of our team will be presenting also at the D10 conference in Cayman Islands on 29th as well.

We are also attending the Singapore BEF on February 4-6th! Stay tuned for more.

LUCYD LAB BLOCKCHAIN BREAKDOWN

One of the most common questions put to Lucyd is why we need a blockchain. There are a lot of useful applications on our AR platform, but the answer is actually straightforward.

In a similar fashion to the Internet connecting people and ideas from all over the world, blockchain can enhance, spread and protect data by putting it on a peer-to-peer, decentralized network. A network or marketplace operates more smoothly and fruitfully when it is assuredly fair, with a transparent authority shared by the userbase. At Lucyd, we recognize that a mainstream AR platform will be bigger than any one idea, bigger than any one company. So we are trying to open the software marketplace for our platform to the developers of the world, to be built, experienced and controlled by the community. By using blockchain to democratize the content creation and moderation process, we are attempting to build a self-sufficient ecosystem, which can grow much faster than traditional app stores. The Lucyd Lab blockchain will organically promote well-received apps and media, while systematically deleting harmful or useless content, all while letting developers keep more of their app revenue. With the Lab, we can lay the foundation for a smartglass that combines ergonomic, next-gen hardware with an active and engaged developer community.

To improve processing speed and economic utility, functions on a blockchain typically operate on peer-to-peer cryptocurrency tokens. These tokens are used to store monetary value in the network, with more tokens roughly equating to a greater “stake” of ownership in the network. Tokens are typically rewarded to “miners” and server owners who supply computing power to operate the blockchain. In the case of Lucyd Lab, LCD tokens are mined by developers and users for community-building efforts, as well as by sharing storage of app and content data. Developers can mine LCD by creating positively rated content, and users can mine LCD by participating in reviews, bounties, referrals and promotional content. LCD can be used to purchase content from the network, hardware from Lucyd, cashed out on token exchanges, or sent in peer-to-peer transactions. We envision all utilities of the token, and all developer and user activity, taking place entirely within the AR interface of Lucyd Lens.

This is all true. The other thing is - the Token Generation Event helps to get tech savvy community onboard, unlike any other mechanism. The average crowd in the crypto space is much more tech savvy that average crowd, and that helps. We need folks who understand technology, and can contribute to the ecosystem. We already have many developers who signed up for our project!

Hi there! Do you need additional developers?

One of the reasons to do the Token Generation Event was to open up to developers to contribute and then work with us on the ecosystem. And it's already happening.

Aside from 8 strategic alliaances with leading AR software developers, we are also gathering individual developers across the world who like and support the project.

What are your minimum purchase?

Technically none but you need at least $600 contribution to get any bonus:
