I don’t trying to be negative here, just a question : Dont you think other companies, like sony, samsung and Nvidia will make this better, just because they have more money, more skilled specialists etc.?
It's not a binary world - if it was, there would have never been successful startups. Not saying we will be like them, but for example Google was started in garage with one pending patent when YAhoo was multibillion dollar company. Most players in AR have been focusing on creating entertaining, but mostly geeky looking, indoor applicable devices mostly. And those have some great uses and fun applications. But we see our glasses as not necessarily a consumer electronics gadget, but next level glasses. Our technology focuses on improving ergonomics of smartglasses, because any mass market product for consumers need to be ergonomic. And ergonomics of a product like smartglasses is mostly derived from optics behind it. Most of our patents are in advanced optics, between free form optics, light guide, eye tracking etc. This technology has been worked on for many years at a leading advanced optics research center in the U.S. My wish for everyone would be to read the article by Dr. Kostoulas about where our technology fits on the competitive landscape: https://www.lucyd.co/technology/We focus on improving certain aspects of currrently available AR displays that prevented it from going mainstream: For example, current devices have up to 30 degrees field of view, our tech enables up to 120 degrees, so that it feels like natural eye view and doesnt cause eye strain. iI also miniaturizes optics elements needed to make lenses and frames smaller, lighter, and looking more like normal glasses. It is prescription ready. It improves real object detection accuracy. All very important aspects from the standpoint of people being actually able to wear glasses in every day situations

We have 7 Ph.D.s on the team, with leading optics and AR scientists in the U.S. These are some of the most skilled experts in the field!

Are there some kind of researches about are VR/AR glasses safe for eyes?
We are developing glasses that are light weight, have a wider field of view and correct more ergonomics aspects that reduce eye strain amongst others.

What is Lucyds relation with UCF? And whats the price per LCD?
The technology was developed at UCF over many years, Lucyd has exclusively licensed the 13 patents from there! 1 LCD = $0.25! Does the Lucyd project have as many as 13 patents? I did not know about this earlier, it's a pleasant surprise for me! I am glad

Do I understand correctly that the principle offered by Lucyd will be completely different from the corresponding ones of the platforms existing? In case of successful implementation it will change the market fundamentally, right?

Yes, we aim to develop next-gen hardware vehicle for AR, that will allow AR use on a daily basis in many daily functions. But also decentralized AR app platform, where everyone can create and share content: https://www.lucyd.co/2018/01/24/blockchain/

Hello, Lucyd!
Can you, please, tell me, what has been done so far? Your project seems promising to me, but I'd like to know, what's the progress of it.
Awaiting your response, for you've got my attention and hopes!
Hello, quite a bit of R&D has been done already. We are a year out from the beta, and about 18 months from full AR blockchain platform. Thanks for letting me know!

What should be the amount of funds invested in order to get maximum profit? Yeah, I'm greedy, but I can’t help it

Im very interested in your project, reading your WP right now. But what about exchnages? I mean the big ones. Are u have any negotiation with some at the moment? Lack of the exchange and the trading volume are the most common problem for all new ICOs

Hi! Haven't read wp so maybe I could ask here. Who if at all are your similar competitors? And how does Lucyd differs from them?
