I am eagerly looking forward to mining Dash from my latest research knowing the wonders the D3 can perform within a month or two. I believe that is good enough for anyone going into mining most especially for the first time. Hopefully, I am able to get one directly from bitmain.

Most mainers prefer BTC, ETH and XMR. And though the Monero transactions take more place than Bitcoin, I'd like to try mining Monero. The privacy of Monero transactions will give an advantage to this currency in future.

Of course i think the most sought for the mining or most mining is bitcoin for the mined by many people doing the mining because of course we know bitcoin has the highest value among other crypto coins. Even if i doing a mining, of course i choose bitcoin for mining than other coins, but maybe many people who already have enough capital to do mining, will do other mining on some other coins as well, who the prices is tolerable high beside bitcoin.

Mining has grown more and more popular, the competition has also increased. Which coin(s) do you guys mine now? Which miners do you prefer?
I prefer btc, because btc is more qualified than other coins, although few days back btc has decreased significantly, you try to see progress now.
eth is an alternative coin of my choice, but I`m studying eth to date to find something right.

I mined ETH, but because the soon to arrive change to POS, and the increase of complexity, i decided to sell our miners, we build 5 eth miners, with a speed between 120 and 160 mhz, depending on heath, causing the cards to work at a lower rate, (each rack had 5 cards, we used r9 290 cards, and rx480 cards), but eventually per miner we got around 1.2 eth per month, and then eth started crashing, so we started to breakeven, (when adding electricity costs etc) so we decided to sell our hardware. We are now mining x11 coins, we have 10 antminers d3 and 5s9's. Though profit has gone down drastically we still believe, we can gain profit from it.

Currently mining (Antminer d3)
DASH,
CANNABISCOIN

GuldenCoin (Antminer s9);

Previously Mining:
ETH (homemade mining rigs running ETHOS)
Bitcoin (spoondoolytech miner, can't remember modelnr)

I use whattomine and cryptocompare website, the stay up to date on coins/profit on coins.

hope this gives you some ideas! gl!

I'm not sure what to choose. Please help. Use a cloud mining firm or hardware mining. If cloudmining which is best for biggest return. Also what hardware vs power consumption is best? Considering antmine7. Anyone has one is it any good? Thank you

I don’t think so that mining requires investing it only requires nonstop electricity and a heavy system to be used for mining. They will simply use your system for their work and pay you in bitcoin and that’s all. All you must be worried about electricity bills because it consumes a lot of electricity.

I mine in a multipool (zpool) with GPUs nvidia, according with profitability I chose between neoscrypt, blake2s, nist5 or sib (better algos for GPU), right now I am mining neoscrypt, my hardware is 1 1060@6gb and 1 1050ti@4gb, miner is also important, some miners can to have higher hash rate than others, currently I have 1mh with both cards

OP, you seem to have some experience in the matter. But my question to you is how profitable have you been in terms of your own mining ventures? I myself would like to get into the market, but if the profit isn't worth while then I can't see any reason in doing so.

I am interested in Zcash mining also. I could have the luck to use a cluster to do mining for free for a while. I am deciding which crytocurrency to go.

I think to think in terms of algorithm. I stay away from SHA256, Scrypt, and even X11 now. Anything with an ASIC means difficulty will keep going up. Cryptonight but even Monero (XMR) difficulty is really high now. I usually look for low difficulty altcoins that has potential.

I have 3 rigs running dual mining with ethereum as primary and SIA as secondary! I like the results of the ethereum mining, and am actually considering stopping the SIA mining and sending all power towards the ethereum. It has been working well, although definitely not a get rich quick scheme! The more I scale it up, the more passive income generated monthly!!

i like to mining bitcoin but unfortunately i can not mining right now because i don't have any hardware or i still thinking about how to solve my electricity fee. before mining, we should calculate how much electricity fee we have to spend in a day or a month. i can buy some hardware to start mining but if i can not pay the electricity fee then i can not make profit at all.

Yeah, electricity costs definitely affect mining profitability. Some places have lower fees than others, it is much more profitable to mine there.  Is electricity expensive where you live?

i mine bitcoins lately on freebitco.in because they recently opened a new feature called browser mining thats why its possible now for me to mine bitcoins even without a pc or a mining hardware although it takes much time to earn bitcoins passively because im only using a low end mobile phone but soon im planning to upgrade on a real asic miner.
