Mining has grown more and more popular, the competition has also increased. Which coin(s) do you guys mine now? Which miners do you prefer?
It has always been Bitcoin but now with the new D3 ASIC from bitmain, I am beginning to consider mining Dash seriously if I get my hand on the next batch.

Purely, we are all mining so we can see some profit quickly, apparently that is the reason we invest anyway, so, from my calculations, if the D3 can give me my ROI back in a monthly, all things being equal, I wonder why I would not want to like that best.

I think Monero (XMR) is the most profitable at the moment (without a huge farm of rigs)

I prefer ethash because it keep gpus quite and cool. Which ensures happy and long life for the gpus and their fans.
I like claymore, mostly because of the nice monitoring tool. I forwarded poets so I can monitor rigs not only locally.

But of course this is nothing to do with profitablility at the moment Sad

Whattomine has another idea about that.
Did you make parallel tests? What gpus?

I like to mine BCN, ETH, SIA.
Doing so with Nicehash, Minergate and with a miner for SIA.
Not getting rich... but hope when prices go up, to get more then even.

I have some AMD GPUs which are mining XMR with profit. Although I'm from Germany where electricity is very expensive Wink

i think if we have high end hardware, mining bitcoin is still good and if we can handle electricity fee then we are fine. i already trying to mining ltc in the past and i only used gridseed blade and so far i can make some nice amount but unfortunately, i am stop my mining because i am moving into another places which have high fee electricity.

Yeah... most of us have been there
BTC are still fine, but a friend of mine started with ETH minning and so far he said it's a bit more profitable. But I'm not sure if its going to last. At least with BTC you have some sort of peace of mind, knowing that you are earning the golden standard, so to speak, of cryptocurrency.
