Maybe those of you who know will keep this a secret ... Obviously mining ETH & Btc isn't really all that worth it anymore... what coins would you recommend that can be mined at the present moment which can be mined a lot ... I.E.: 0.5 in a day as opposed to 0.00025 . I don't really care about the cost of the coin today, because if its the right coin it'll jump up anyways   Grin

Zcash is the best coin to mine at the moment, and there are no other as good as Ethereum coins to be mined and give you greater profitability. Zcash only gives you just a bit more than Ethereum mining nowadays. For example 0.00025 btc/day you can make by mining ethereum with a GTX 1060, with Zcash you can make 0.00032 btc/day with the same card.

There are other altcoins which maybe better to mine but they are not as trusted as Zcash and Ethereum so for the moment you have to stick with either one of these two.

I would suggest you check whattomine.com for reference depending on what your videocard is. AMD/NVIDIA has a different strength in terms of algorithm

This +1! It depends hugely on the chip that you have. AMD and Nvidia give very different hashrates per coin. If you were mining Signatum for instance you would notice that you had a hashrate of 62 mh/s with GTX1080 while Rx480 was around 15. Which gives you a huge difference in profitability.

I always check whattomine, BUT I would not say that is the best source. The best source is without a doubt the Announcement thread. That enables you to catch the coins early before they are on Whattomine and coinmarketcap. Which means that difficulty is much lower and your rewards are higher. That of course does mean that you do not know if or when the coin will be on an exchange site nor what the price of it eventually will be. So while the risk in terms of ROI is higher, your potential gains are also higher as a result. Risk vs reward ration really.

ZClassic is good and quick to mine, don't think it's a great coin no more but to just convert to BitCoin it's good... ZenCash is my preferred, got quite a few but the difficulty is right up now

bitcore is the best one they have an airdrop of 12.55% per month, so you get 12% of reward on top of your earning each month

if you don't care the current cost, mine new promising coins, which didn't even reach an exchange, when diff is low.

Yeah I believe in future of ETH, so I just keep going on mining ETH.

I never check the daily profit on whattomine, I think it's not a good method for us - small miners, because market is smart, price's up, so difficulty also rises.

What about DMD ? According to whattomine.com, profit seems high but I haven't tried yet.
