Just uploaded and downloaded my first file using the Oyster-storage. History has been written.  Grin

And to all the haters that were raging when the mainnet was delayed 2 days ago: I hope you sold all your PRL yesterday to someone who appreciates the project more.

If you know how Oyster team is working and how active is the team than you should not even consider a little delay as a 'bad infulence to the project from dev team'.

If the devs are going to sell 4 million PRL just for the HADAX listing then I don't wanna know what the price is going to be.  Sad

I think that the combination of solutions will be the most optimal options for getting out of the current situation. I would prefer the community fundraising and the partial sale of tokens by the team. To ensure that the team does not have to sell many tokens for a long time.

UPDATE: Due to the overwhelming community consensus, we have decided to forego the HADAX listing. Oyster will not be seeking to list PRL on HADAX. Therefore, no large amount of PRL will be sold.

It's a good decision because those amount of money can be used importantly for development and marketing. I praise this decision by OYSTER.

Oyster Funding over OTC!

We want to get the sentiment of our community about the possibility for a separate funding of the project besides selling to the open market (OTC).

This would be done by creating a broker contract, which sends you back PRLs, at a price of ~$1 for each PRL, once you have sent ETH.

This would be beneficial in many ways for the project:

1) Creating liquidity without influencing the market.

2) Giving the possibility for the Community to support the project directly.

3) Building up a reserve for possible upcoming exchange listing fees.

It is a good decision but it seems to hurt the price.

Still, the price drop is temporary but if you paid that big fees it was going to be permanent. Good call!

Who knows, why is dumping on KuCoin? It seems somebody is selling a huge amount of PRL.

The team being openly communicative is a good sign and they are willing to discuss the good and bad parts of Oyster Pearl constructively. There are a few things to worry about, such as the IOTA dependence but overall we think it should be good for the long term.

I will support both decisions first regarding Huobi listing matter and second using OTC channel to liquidate further tokens from development funds. These are wise decisions and will have their impacts on markets as well. Oyster team is taking community on important decisions that is great about this. Those concerned about recent decrease in price should have eyes on long term benefits.

Maybe someone bought in november for under 1 cent and think this is the best time to sell, who knows. Here in crypto-space logic doesn't apply it seems.

It seems a big whale or several whales sold their PRL. But I do not see the logic. They could sell PRL when it was near 1 usd.

Don't bother trying to find logic, there is none. People are just selling, whether they make profit or not.

If you look at the amount of PRL in sell orders at Kucoin, then it's clear what to expect.

They either pushing the price down for them to buy more prl because they know how the price of prl goes up. There is a logic if you only think in the wide picture and the nearest possible thing from its price movements. I don't trade prl because i already dump it before it goes down before now i will watch if its a good sign to buy again or to totally forget this coin.

PRL is a token not a coin.

I don't think whales are trying to move the price down, but this situation is caused by lots of smaller fish like you.

Who has tried Oyster storage already? How is your experience?  Cheesy
I am happy, 1PRL per 64GB storage. Very cheap

Is the mainnet live? On their page I saw the Beta Mainnet is live, and you don't have to pay anything for storage in this phase. But of course the system is still not reliable.
