Oyster Pearl PRL's market started to rebound again this morning. It will give tranquillity and relief to some buddies were worried over yesterday's price changes. Mainnet release in any project doesn't lift up prices since that is beginning of real work. From here in few months we should have expectations to  have ROI because project is stepping in real world to provide services.

Still dumping and there is a price as 40 cents when BTC is growing up. So sadly...

You could probably sell now and buy back at 4,000 sats, look at all those sell orders...

lol 4k sats is a very low price. I think we can see 3500-4000 sats very soon if nothing will be changed

I think this price is just temporary, if they can buy PRL for $3-$4 on pure speculation then they will buy for even higher price when development is finished.

Also we now pay 10 times less for PRL than last ATH, that's insanely good.

I don't think that's a good idea. The Binance listing fee is very big (I'm not sure how much, but I know it's too big) and who says that Binance won't delist Oyster for whatever reason? Remember Hadax fiasco? We all purchased HT tokens to vote for the PRL and we could have lost big time if HT's price dropped for some reason. Luckily it didn't...

Plus, I think that Bruno said somewhere that they will focus on project development more than on the exchange listings. So I would rather donate some BTC/ETH to hire more developers than to list the project on Binance. I'm aware that Binance listing would raise the price, but aren't we in it for the long run? I know I am. So short term price rise wouldn't make me sell my PRLs and SHLa.

The idea is good, but it seems to me that only from a part, it seems to me that the team must also donate a certain percentage for this case...

The SHL development is something which will be done much later down the road. At the moment the dev team is concentrating on the raw protocol and improving on PRL, since the Webnode topology is the same which is used by SHL.

Yes, they want to take one step after another, not rushing ahead and then finding out that the step they needed to implement steps already finished, isn't working

UPDATE: Due to the overwhelming community consensus, we have decided to forego the HADAX listing. Oyster will not be seeking to list PRL on HADAX. Therefore, no large amount of PRL will be sold.

It is a good decision but it seems to hurt the price.

Still, the price drop is temporary but if you paid that big fees it was going to be permanent. Good call!

After main net has gone live successfully this changed the status of project completely. Now it will be presented other way and more side projects will be interested to become partners. I am looking forward for good updates from 7th June's meetup taking place in Montreal. It is only 2 days away and has its significance. Pearl Oyster will be presented very well there I am more than sure.

Man I really want to upload bigger files and folders on oyster storage, is there  size limit the devs have in mind? Like will we ever be able to upload 1GB files? Idk if it is too much or not for the protocol

This is not a concern, it describes the situation well: current tangle can’t scale large data because it’s like RAID 1. I already discussed with CfB and they will push sharding at some stage, which is like RAID 10. We are the bottleneck not them, and if they are too slow we could implement sharding ourselves.

They aren't in a hurry to merge back. If we would merge back we could somewhat force them in a way basically to implement a solution. Since Oyster's origin is basically coming from there. It is the main thing which they shoul do. Marketing is very poor. Many potential investor do not know about PRL.
