Why are Muslims synonym to terrorism?

I think we shouldn't  be judge for terrorism by religion. I know some of the muslims are terrorist and some also are not and it is offensive and it is unfair to them that we said terrorism is synonym to muslims

The lying media is what has caused everybody to think terrorist is a muslim. First off not do they incorrectly do so but they fail to recognize people of other skin colors as a terrorist. For instance when a white person commits

an attack against the state they refer to their mental state, or some illness, or something literally anything other than terrorism. See for yourself the media influences the way we think heavily, dont let that be you!

Terrorism should not have been generalized with the faith of a person.
Yet, muslims or the follower of Islam are looked as a terrorist around the world. (we might not but the majority of world does.)
What could be the reason for such stereotype?

The media always preach the terrorists are Muslims but have the media opened up who is the brain of this activity, do you know the mastermind behind all this terror? Islam is a good religion and Islam does not teach about terrorism.

Being politically correct is not beneficial to anyone. You need to check the root cause behind the Islamic extremism. Most of the radical Islamist organizations justify their atrocities saying that they are just following what is written in the Holy Quran. And they are right. There are a lot of verses in the Quran, which promotes violence against the non-Muslims.

I have never experienced that muslims are synonym for terrorism, but there are radikal muslims who are willing to kill other people for their believe. With the help of the public press they want to imply that muslims are in general terrorists to create restlessness in the population and many people believe this propaganda, even though the religion of islam itself prohibits violence.

To say that the IRA was an terrorist organization based solely on religion is an outright lie. The IRA was dedicated to uniting the Republic of Ireland with Northern Ireland. The fact that the majority of the early IRA were Catholic and their opponents were Protestant was not the cause for the fighting. There were actually Protestants who were members of the IRA. Later on, the Official IRA became a Marxist organization. Regardless of all that, it was Christians fighting Christians with one side seeking to unite their country that the other was occupying. What we see with these radical Muslims is their desire to slaughter any and all kuffar/apostates.

I was trying to prove the point that there are other "terrorists" that do not follow Islam and not Muslim and was referring to the IRA etc. Never said IRA was an terrorist organization based solely on religion.

It is under dispute. Some of the "scholars" say that you will only get 72 virgins (all female) once you murder the infidels during Jihad. But some of the other sources say that in addition to these 72 virgin girls, another 24 Gillman (young boys) will be provided as well. But still, it is hard to believe that even in the 21st century there are people who are wiling to believe in these myths.
