No, but I see bitcoin being a major store of value like what gold is for rich people. Governments would still find a way to use their fiats even if it's already hyperinflated, or will just find another replacement of the USD from other currencies that has a strong and stable economy (I bet there's none), but that would still be far from reality as long as the US has control over the economy of the world and every single one of these countries are still dependent to their dearest dollar.

I know they won't replace fiat. We have governments to prevent that from happening  Grin.

I know it may not be possible right now, but do you think fiat will be gone in the future?

No I don't see that coming for another at least 30-40 years from now. Fiat can't be replaced but the mode will be surely changed. Like the way people are handling cash now, that probably will be replaced by the plastic money like cards. People will mostly use card for their daily expenses and cash will just remain as a number in your bank account. Sweden has already started moving towards the cashless economy and made it mandatory for every stores to accept plastic money instead. I think this trend will slowly take over the other countries as well. But replacing the fiat by digital currency, ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

I believe it cannot replace fiat, but they can be used both in community. Of course it cannot easily replace something that cycles over a hundred years, it can be adopted to be used for a larger purpose but replacing other currency is not a thing for it. Besides it is better this way by not having a absolute value for some to gain profit from it.
Very difficult to predict about the subject questions but unanimously it may conclude that both will survive as per everyone need and proceedings. It has been noted that technology has brought a glorious revolution after 2000 which were not to be expected before and people now believe and mostly are depended on latest technology. So, although, it is difficult for digital currency to replace fiat but not impossible in light of expected future evolvement.

As we can observe right now, there are many transaction already that doesn't need cash or fiat especially in the cities. This only proves that there are bigger chances of having a cashless society where digital currency rules. Might happen not so soon but it is already in the process. Anyways, we're getting there already.

Im pretty sure crypto currencies will replace Fiat in future.
But im not sure if Bitcoin will replace Fiat. Governments probably will create own crypto coins which we will be forced to use :/
Yes, you are correct! Bitcoin will replace the fiat soon and maybe it will be set as an international currency. I don't see government will create a new one to defeat the bitcoin. It is risky on their part because they couldn't control the supply of token. Governments are busy to maintain the peace throughout the country.

I dont think it will happen, it is really impossible for now i mean cryptocurrencies are decentralized the government will not allow crypto to takeover and most of the countries don't really recognized digital currencies. But when the government recognized crypto they are the one that will takover to crypto then maybe digital currency can replace fiat but it will take a while before it happens. Who know's when.

No,its not possible for cryptocurrencies to replace traditional local fiat currencies because government wont really let that thing to happen.Thinking off that cryptos are decentralized which it cant really be considered to be come a main currency in the world. It would just still remain on what it is just like now.

I don't think so. Fiat and digital currency will just co-exist because we cannot just easily let go fiat since all of us are not in the technology yet. It would be hard for the people who have no access to technology to use a digital money if they don't have access to it. There are even people who have no electricity yet and if we opt for digital money then they would be left behind and they will not be able to transact and buy anything so eliminating fiat is just highly unlikely. Maybe digital currency may end up being use as asset more than a currency.

if it is lost entirely it is not possible, because in the interaction there must be an exchange process, so cash money will definitely be needed and will not disappear from the market but may not dominate again
That's right. Anyway, we can used both of them and we can used them in different areas.
Since many of us are still have no knowledge about crypto currency and they don't have a chance to take a part of this kind because of some factors. That's why replacing fiat money over digital currency are impossible because probably many citizen would not go for it. And its accessibility of digital currency are not for all class of people probably it happens in the lower class.

Do you believe in miracles? If yes, you have your answer.

Bitcoin started as nothing and at this price alone we can eventually call it a “miracle coin” in cryptocurrency investment in the whole history of human existence. Who will predict for what will be made and what might happen.

If in reality we do associate miracles for a divine intervention. It is not what I mean do.

Fiat been in decades, centuries and still exist but in due time resistance toward financial institutions will eventually rise and spread and that is the beginning of the end of currency in the real world. And that the start of cryptocurrency system.

I do not think so, the digital currency as a whole can not replace the role of fiat money. It is influenced by technology that is not ready and not evenly distributed around the world.

That would be possible but the essence of time is the answer, it would take around 50 years in my guesstimate. We are now living in a digital communities, younger generations and millennials can easily adopt the transitions of  newer technologies like this digital cryptocurrencies, on-line e-commerce, social media marketing, modern financial technologies. The only problem is that most financial institution like insurance, banks and investment firms are manage or owned by the older generations like they were born at '50s or '60s, they seem they are not still comfortable to adapt new technologies they prefer the traditional method like what they used to it when they are in their younger age. The older generation is still controls the government, the world economy and the finances. That's why it is still hard to take place this digital currencies as the mainstream medium of exchange but i am optimistic that in the future it will be.

We're still not sure about that, but it is possible that fiat would be gone in the future because it will be replace by the digital currencies. Our Society is evolving everyday, so there is a lot of things that could happen every single day. All that we can do for now is to continue use both fiat and bitcoin, and store cryptos as many as we can to be prepared in the near future.

Yes I believe digital currencies will replace FIAT money as it is more suitable for the modern world. Also the world needs an independent currency separate from people and organizations in power that use the current centralized money system.

I think governments will always have their own currency whether a physical currency or a digital currency. But decentralized currencies like Bitcoin can still exist as a universal coin or store of value. They also serve other purposes including payment method and conduit for sending funds to other parts of the world. I think these coins will have a place in the world economy in the future.

I personally believe that in the next 5 years at least 10% of the money supply will be replaced by digital currencies. In which we could see crypto market becoming a trillion dollar market.

Maybe the money supply around the world might get changed to digital form, but not the entire fiat system will be replaced. Already several countries have changes their fiat into digital form, which can be used in the form of paper money as well in digital form. Specific value is assigned to the token.
