I know it may not be possible right now, but do you think fiat will be gone in the future?

Fiat is a buddy of the bank and is a buddy of the government. Cryptocurrency is not. So by logic, we won't see fiat biting the dust since the government will not let that happen. However, the future is full of mystery and anything could happen. I believe that fiat will be outdated in the future but I do not know what will take its place. It could be a cryptocurrency but in a semi-centralized manner so that the government can touch and control it and at the same time, be strong from any type of attacks.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

maybe yes it will happen in the future. but it cannot replace all fiat money, we can say digital currencies will replace 50% of the fiat money. it would be good if it is balance and they can support or depend each others.

Nowadays many countries have policies that prohibit virtual currency so that the replacement of currency does not take place, if it becomes possible it may not be a good thing.

The credit cards already did the job. Now is the time for the bitcoin or altcoin to do their job
It is not good that fiat will replace my digital currencies, we still need fiat, because we need to use it anywhere like when buying in stores or groceries, not all companies are accepting digital currencies like bitcoin, Credit card can be but how can we pay in credit card if we don't have fiat? So, I think we still need fiat and don't imagine that fiat will disappear by replacing digital currencies.

There are many forms of currency like fiat currency and digital currency. But it is very difficult to say that one currency will finish the importance of other currency. In my opinion the digital currency will become more famous but it will not replace fiat.

Do you mean cryptocurrency or digital currency . As far my understanding digital currency already replacing fiat currency like bank wallet and other payment wallet . But cryptocurrency bit difficult to replace fiat because crypto is lacking ease of use like day by day spend where people has to wait for transaction confirmation.

i believe that digital currency will be used beside with Fiat money. but it will not possible to take the place of fiat money by the digital currency. because, every government's policy involved with fiat money so they can't accept this digital currency without their fiat money. but i believe that when all the countries people will cover under the internet then digital currency will be a dominating factor in the monetary platform.

I read that Sweden and Denmark in a few years are going to switch to digital currency, giving up money fiat. However, I do not believe that this can be and the usual money we will not need. The society has not yet reached the technological level to such a level of development. In addition, we need a certain level of knowledge and skills in crypto currency for ordinary citizens. We will see, of course, what will happen in these countries, as it will be possible.

I still don't think so, because cash can be use anytime, anywhere no matter the situation is cash is still useful than the digital currencies such as bitcoin, it can only used while you have an internet connection in order to send transaction to the network which is a major setback. it will be better to use digital currency as an alternative to cash such as paying someone over the internet or buy items on the internet anonymously.

Maybe, not impossible but will take a lot of time i guess, there are a lot of people who has less knowledge in technologies, once their generations passed, blockchain tech will soon be known by the world and that time fiat may be out-valued by cryptos.
On the other hand, the fiats will always have a place in people's heart & mind

Hello author! You know this is an interesting time we live in. I am happy to watch how humanity develop and destroy itself very very interesting. Also I adore the concept of block chain technology and cryptocurrency  because this it something new in our day. But on the other hand it's not new. Yes, I think It could happen first in more progressive countries and after some years in the poor and hungry counties.

i believe that digital currencies will replace fiat but not in this two or three years later because digital currencies is still new technology and need more a lot to do to prepare to be used. but in future like more than five years later, i think digital currencies will start to used by online or offline. there are many country which is studied and learning about digital currencies and if everything is set it up, then we can use digital currencies but in the meantime we can used crypto currencies first right now.

I think it might not be possible even in the future bitcoin is more popular now and it is optimized using it with ease to the max they maybe have a chance to have rates not too high but bitcoin has the headstart of 8 years and secured the cryptocurrency  world for having the highest currency in the whole wide world and it is nothing even beside bitcoin what is 8 years of head start to a new and starting currency i think if it is in a movie the bitcoin i the protagonist and the flat are the tagonist lol theres so much advanced ideas on bitcoin and improved a lot

it can happen, the times are more modern, and the needs of society will follow the times, before using fiat, people used to use gold and other metals as a means of payment transactions, and now we use fiat as a means of payment, so maybe the next centuries of digital currency will be the main currency in every country around the world. But I prefer both side by side, because I think everything needs balance.

We people are now moving in technical era , more and more people are getting into technology and internet.
People are now preferring to buy and trade online , like almost every shop has an online website of its own , many people earn through that.
People .
The number of users and the acceptance of bitcoins is also increasing by a massive rate , Bitcoins surely has the potential to replace fiat . It is only a matter of time .
May be in coming decade we would see people using BItcoins  to buy daily stuffs

Digital currencies will not replace the fiat money, there are no preconditions for that. And I don't even think they were created with such intention. With further techical era development they will grow too but they will exist as a paralell financial system, not the one that would replace the current financial and economic system.
