I studied abroad for several years and technically "moved out" of my parents house right after high school. The homesickness that hit me a few months after I left caused me to spiral into a pretty bad depression at the time.

It's been several years since then and I'm now stationed abroad but my entire family is still back in my home country, and let me tell you... the homesickness never really leaves. You just learn to cope with it better as time goes on.

Then when you don't see your family for a very long time you start to miss them. It was my dream job too and what others would consider a holiday destination. But it just wasn't right for me and I ended up moving back home in 2 years

Yes absolutely correct. It is very hard because first and foremost, you are working thousand of miles away from your family or love one. In that reason it is very hard to wake up every morning realizing that you are the only one in your home. Then you need to work alone, in the morning no one will cook for you, no one will wash your clothes, no one will help you just your self.

Being far to your love ones is a big sacrifice, looking best future for your family you need to sacrifice thru working to the other country in a thousand miles away.The key for the successful life is sacrifice.

being an overseas worker is a lot of sacrifices. you will sacrifice mainly the time. time to spend with your family, friends and your time for your own self. working abroad is not so easy. the work there is heavy compared to your own locality. of course, the salary that you will get is not as big as the salary in your locality. loneliness is the main challenge that overseas worker is facing. they will not be happy even if they will have friends there.

If you are that home-sick, then you have the option of working for low wages in your home-town. You will not get everything you want in life (unless you are the son of some millionaire). You need to adjust with whatever you got.
