it is difficult to say that what coin will be the best in October. Not only me but also all crypto specialist can't say that what coin will go to moon until the coin developer will be the successful in field as per their roadmap. So follow the project roadmap.

Personally I would pick golem , verge and civic. Ethereum has also shown good amounts of growth and its one of my favorite altcoins simply because of the fact that it is most used platform for ICOs.
Waves and straits are also the coin to buy in October as the prices are cheap as compared to their potential.

for me is bitcore, 12% airdrop reward per month is huge, you can do 200% in a year best pos together with rain, and then you have spreadcoin with HLM, for ico i don't know, they all look like scam to me lol

Elix is a good pick, I am also holding it for a couple of days now. Its so strong and I am not going to sell. Its a good long term hold! Another coin is modum, they already had their ICO in september. Lets see where it goes after exchange launch!

I think 3 coin is ripple dgb and dash 3 coin this has a good maketing. The big supporters, the development team is quite ok and October 3 this coin has quite a lot of events. First that i am hearing about sentry. I am cautious of them right now, dont know if their goal is achievable.

I will probably be investing more in BTC and LTC. I still have hope for Ripple, so I might also invest a bit more there. Those 3 are my long term investments at the moment.
ICO wise, my opinion may be biased, but Electroneum is one I think is worth investing in (I decided early on I would invest in it which is why I joined their campaign). I think it has potential because they are trying to appeal to the masses, to make crypto currency available to the average user through mobile mining.

For me, the best Coin to buy in October are Ethereum and Bitcoin because their price is varying. It means that when the price is increases, eventually it can decrease but in any minute it will rise up again. This coins are also the most higher exchange rate and they are the most trustworthy coins I know.

There are a lot of potential coin to choose and especially some of them have yet to recover from the china fud/dip. For the month of october, i would like to focus on wtc, neo and bitcoin. As we know that bitcoin are possible to be fork soon, it can come another opportunities or not. As for neo, its first ico rpx is coming so the demand for neo can pump the price more. WTC has been undervalue for quite some time and even though recently it has x5 to x6. It still have huge room for growth too.

I think best choice would be Waves and ETH. In October hardfork in ETH and a big releases in Waves would push price up.
