Both. I look at the bitcointalk ANNs. Than I search more information about this project. I usually check the rating websites like Bench, Drops or Marks. I usually trust in an ICO, if the Telegram community is big (>15k members)

These forum is the best place, because a lot of ICOs use bots to keep their threads up and when I see bots, who are not able to respond to anyone but to other bots, I see that ICO is fake or dirty. Same statement could be related to the reddit too.

There are a lot of different Youtube channels and they have one bad feature. Untill they are not popular, they provide you with real data, but when they get a lot of subscribers, they are ready to promote everything. That is why you should not trust popular blogers.

Do what you want but do not trust advertisments on listings, becasue owners of listing and ratings care about their profits and do not care about checking information about ICO itself. Not so long ago I saw a thread about the fake ICO which was promoted on rating.

The bitcointalk forum is by far the most reliable platform where you can see the best possible ICOs to invest in. Other platforms are not as credible as this one. But care must be taken in chosing your preferred ICO.
