I don't buy into ICOs.

Same!

I think one should invest into real products or stable btc
If you are sure you wanna take risk, I'll ttry some of those: UnikoinGold or Confideal.
I have already invested 350$, hope to get some profit Cheesy

I found ICO alert pretty useful for finding ICOs including those that are not ethereum based. Though, searching through it can feel like searching for gold in the middle of the dump. I don't think that there's anything about ERC tokens that make them inherently scammy, it's just the lower level of effort required versus building your own platform which likely attracts the bad apples.

For me it's funny when people say that ICO is a gambling and a high risk investment. It's is only if you do not do your home work before investment. You must know the question, never invest to something you do not know.
I know that some people invest to 10-20 ICO projects or coins at the same time. It's a real gambling because one person just can be that smart to know everything they must know about so many different projects or coins.

I invest only to something I'm abcolutely (well, there is no absolute in this world, so let's say 95%) sure about.

Now I invest to:

1) Babanacoin. They are real. They have a plantation already, they have same business for years already + I personally know people involved in the project. You should not expect 10X growth of the tokens, but you can be sure that you invest in the real profitable business.
2) ARTokens. My close friend is in AR/VR industry and he investigated the project a lot! The developers are building a really usefull platform that will become popular because people need that! Plus the developer is a leader of the industry, not some start up...

I can't say that I suggest to invest to this projects. I just say that you should do your homework instead of asking someone for advice. Do not gamble - invest to something you know about and belive!

Modex ICO got my attention, a smart contract marketplace that connect real world usages with the suitable smart contract of Modex platform, it seems unique. They still have not announced when the pre sale will commence.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2194085.0

It is interesting that you posted to support the Modex ICO, but you wear the signature of Spectre project, I just want to know what do you thing about these two projects, which is better?

I plan to participate in the sale of the Minerva token. From them for a long time there was no news, but soon the ICO date should clear up

no, ico bench is good, projects with 5.0 there are really good. https://icobench.com/ico/confideal
Yes, Confideal is on Ethereum platform, but i don't think it is a dig problem and reason to think that it is a scam. Look at Confi and maybe you can find some scam indicators, because I am not

my opinion, all ICOs have their respective advantages, but I recommend flixxo ICO as it is a "community based video distribution". I'm sure, flixxo is one of the good ICO's this month.

ICO's can be a great way to invest in somthing you really believe in. I'm waiting for the ICO of Chimaera (about 5 days away)
It's a gaming and gaming development platform comparable to steam but with ico and on the blockchain. It will feature human mining
via playing games and will support economy that will be tradable for real-life value currency.

Check the WP and token sale on https://chimaera.io/token/

I reviewed lots of [ANN] threads out there, and it's really dissapointing that most of projects are very similar: basicly wallets and trading platforms. I also think that project should already have at least somewhat functional product, otherwise I definetly would not invest in ideas which arent innovative or interesting. However there definetly are some worth looking up. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2261446.0 looks really promising with high quality whitepaper.
