I don't recommend using a web wallet to store shield, with the recent hacks that's been happening in the cyrptocurrency world, it's better to just store your coins in an official wallet where you have the private keys, unfortunately the web wallet will not give you any private keys so to avoid problems it's better to just download the desktop wallet. The wallet is working very well and so far I haven't had any issues with it, it's very fast to sync, easy to set up and very user friendly. So if you want to make sure your shield are safe then use the official desktop wallet, it's so much safer and it guarantees more privacy compared to the web wallet.

Is it better to have lets say 1000 nodes in witch minimum number of XSH is 500 000 coins to run it, or 10 000 nodes where minimum number of XSH needed is around 50 000 ? I suppose network would be more secured and stabilized if there are more nodes, right ? I would like to hear you observation on that.

I think i spoke too soon  
The desktop wallet ran and synced fine yesterday. i had my 1st mining payout go into it just fine.
I tried to run wallet today and it just hangs at splash screen

Why is splash screen so BIG? it covers everything and icons for my other wallets. and unless i get to desktop i cant shut it down......


EDIT: Ok so i need a bit more patience it took me 13 minutes to fully load up. Splash screen is still too big IMO

I just stumbled on this project and am now mining, I believe strongly that overhyped coins tend to drag along and go through long depression phases following the big pumps (cough cough XVG) so the smaller community and active discord/devs on this project is very appealing. Looking forward to whats in store q1-q2 and beyond
