Hi!
Please notice that it's not possible to manipulate the price for a long period of time without the fundamental drivers for the price going up or down.
The value of the WAX token is driven by usage, supply and demand. WAX team will drive tremendous usage from OPSkins, reduce supply through staked tokens to support transfer agents and guilds, and increase demand my requiring higher stakes from transfer agents and guilds as their volume goes up. The combination of all those factors is designed to drive increased token price. By design the token economics increase its intrinsic value.
In other words, OPSkins on the daily basis will buy a huge number of WAX tokens from the market which will guarantee the high liquidity for WAX Tokens. Transfer agents will need to buy WAX Tokens in order to increase the transaction volumes (as WAX tokens are used as a collateral). Therefore the ecosystem's itself will boost the price of WAX tokens.
Well understood thank you. This said, there will be many months between the ICO date and the first token repurchase program. Meanwhile, a few big whales will control the supply and thus the price. I still like the project though, good luck! |

If i want to participate in the ICO do I need to create a WAX token in myetherwallet.com and use that address when I sign up on the Wax website? I checked the token list and WAX is not there? Is there a tutorial video on buying wax tokens?

I'm typically an ICO skeptic, but WAX looks to be the real deal. If you haven't taken the time to look at the white paper and the OpSkins marketplace the token is being built for you really should. Wax is more than a forked token based on an idea. Its purpose is to solve a problem and expand the skin trading market beyond games on Steam. I'm hopeful that it will encourage companies like Blizzard to open their platform skin trading. OpSkins is already a massively successful (and dominant) player in the virtual and skin trading market.
IMO, this is the lowest risk ICO that I've come across to date. Looking forward to seeing how the future plays out for this token and the OpSkins marketplace!

Okay, so I'm curious about a couple of things:
1. Why i can't read your whitepaper on the website? Was refreshing in for 10 times already, thinking maybe i had an internet issue. ICO without a WP? Really guys?
2. i find it pretty sad that you no one here seems to cate answering questions about why are you going to keep more 50% for yourself? What the trick? Do you want to actually manipulate the market after the sale?
3. Is there any kind of an official account of WAX here, so I can get an official answer? I see random people answering but the problem for is that I'm not sure if I can account on their answers.

I almost got in, I saw it sitting at 99.33% complete for 24 hrs and by the time my funds cleared the bank, it had just ended.

Hi! WAX Tokens are not issued yet and will be distributed no later than in 30 days after the end of the Main Token sale (by December 29th). Right after the distribution we'll provide the short instructions how to add WAX tokens to the ERC-20 compatible wallet. Also it should be mentioned that JAXX is the official partner of WAX so tokens will be available in the JAXX wallet right after the distribution and no settings will be needed. What?!?
