Don't think much will happen at all. There might be a small run up leading up to the fork, but some people are against the fork so some may end up selling. It's a crapshoot.

I think the upcoming fork has more potential than Bitcoin Cash ever did. Reason being is that Bitcoin Gold is going to introduce a new Proof Of Work algorithm to benefit new miners coming into the ecosystem: From SHA256 to Equihash, CPU mining vs GPU mining. The difference in efficiency between these two is massive.

Essentially, this is one step towards making Bitcoin mining more accessible to all. Currently, miners and manufacturers are centralized in China. It is a problem when a small group of people controls mining globally. This switch should help to diversify GPU mining (which can calculate WAY more processes than CPU) around the world.

Even though most of us are investors or hobbyists, I would stay optimistic as this hard fork is going to have the biggest impact on miners.

Bitcoin is still King, but I wouldn't be surprised if Bitcoin Gold actually gains momentum with miners....or....banks?

The bitcoin fork will create a short impact on bitcoin's price resulting it to go down for a while and then increasing rapidly.
We can expect the same situation as Bitcoin cash hard fork where the price increased rapidly after the fork had happened.
Most of the people sold their BCH to acquire more BTC which made bitcoin's price to bounce higher in the chart.
So there are possibilities that the same thing is gonna happen this time too.

Well, am not really worried about the coming scheduled fork because in the first place it is not within my own power to influence anything on the direction which Bitcoin can be going to. Right now, we have no choice but to leave it to the people who will decide and act on this fork accordingly. I would then just be happy if I would be getting my share of BitcoinGold since this is a hard fork similar to what happened in August which gave birth to BitcoinCash. We are just hoping that in the end things would get better making Bitcoin more agile and better able to deal with volume of transactions and please we have to lower the fees as much as possible.

Fork make bitcoin more popular than before, because there will be more people attracted to the fork. They want to see what happens to bitcoin after fork. When the fork fail, they will hurry buy bitcoin and the price will jump.

BCH - bitcoin cash is not quite popular its just running like another bitcoin clone/altcoin.
I think whatever we will get after next fork will be just worthless coin and it might not get same level of adoption like bitcoin cash.

I will be dumping all I will get after fork when it will be listed.

The folk will be called Bitcoin Cash i think. It is best to keep your private key so that after the fork, you get to keep your free money. As for BTC price, it will go up to $7k end of this year. Why i know this ? Satoshi told me hahahahaha

If it going to happen hardfork this month, as usual bitcoin prices will decrease.

It is just an altcoin that will try gain traction using Bitcoin. Will go to zero in less than 2 months. But the 2xBitcoin on November is something that nobody know what could happen.

I already knowing it and reads about fork / segwit2x information in october. And i think this will lead to bitcoin price rising high, but can't be sure after that what happens to bitcoin price, will the price will continue to be in the altitude above $4000 or not. It is possible that the price of bitcoin crashed like what happen last August during the 1st Hard fork but it is also possible that after the crashed if ever bitcoin will revenge and pump with a good value appreciation. Nothing new will happen I guess, forks are just the same thing of splitting bitcoin and forming another new coin. But for the market and pricing of bitcoin this will give it another way to pump, many traders will have a very greedy attitude of making money out of nothing and because of just having bitcoin on our very own wallet, we can have those split alt coins and we can have an easy money, who doesn't want an easy money eh?
