Another Bitcoin fork on 25 October

Bitcoin Gold isn't anything special, and will definitely not cause Bitcoin any harm. It will fork out this month, end then function as pure altcoin that from that point has no ties with Bitcoin anymore.

The only reason people get excited about Bitcoin Gold is that it will allow them to cash out the coins they obtained without doing any effort. Once people are done dumping, this coin will eventually dry out.

I will cash them out likely at the very early stage, or wait for the initial dumping to stop to get the most out of this 'opportunity'. I however don't expect its price to be anything spectacular like how BCC has been pumped.

I predicted this incident could make the bitcoin price increase. fork is a thing that can make bitcoin weakened or increased.
but I tend to think that there will be a rise in bitcoin prices. this is still a prediction but everything looks real will happen later.

Noting will happen to bitcoin because the bad fork for bitcoin was when china banned bitcoin and now bitcoin is much stronger and powerful then before and now I think bitcoin is use to with market and can understand market value but I also believe not only 25 DEC fork bitcoin will handle but also coming fork in future bitcoin will adjust easily.

I think this upcoming hard fork will be similar for the first one last August which only affects the pricing of bitcoin before the day of fork but after that it does not make the market of bitcoin down instead it grows higher. We might experience sudden drop in bitcoin price but I don't think this would last for a long period its just that introduction of bitcoin gold must be establish like bitcoin cash

OMG! I'm surprised about the fact that BTG was relating to the ico, And so, can you make a clarification regarding the truth about the bitcoin segwit 2x fork in the future? Does it will generate another forked coin such as bitcoin cash like another people said before? To complete all of the people's curiosity regarding the truth about the bitcoin gold itself.

People will try to get free bitcoin gold
For that people need to have bitcoin in their wallet.

I do not know if the price is going to go up massively but at least we are finally seeing bitcoin moving up after the past weeks and all the FUD we had, I think it is possible we see a price of 5000 before the hard fork since everyone will want to get in bitcoin so they can get their bitcoin gold and then sell it for a profit.

yah i also think that $5000 is just a matter of time now, it'll be before the fork or after although it can be both since most people are expecting the same thing that happened on august first fork where every bitcoin holder gets a free bitcoin cash--depends on how much they own--. Thats why the most possible reason why bitcoin is pumping now is because the bigger amount of bitcoin you hold the bigger bitcoin gold you'll have. its also the reason why most altcoins are red since people are dumping it because of bitcoin.

We still have 14 days before the fork and the price is high enough, I have not checked in other exchanges to see if the price of 5000 was hit already or not, but according to coinmarketcap we are close to get to that point, so I think we need to prepare for another bull run.

After fork we might see btc falls, I think bitcoin gold will be successful this time unlike what happen in bitcoin cash since bch is just a trial of it before now we have idea on how split happens.
