OK, so we've got the first snapshot date finalized, finally:

Balance check snapshot will be taken on November 12 at 12.00 UTC!

This will only be a testing snapshot to ensure that the upcoming, the 2nd snapshot (the actual one) for the incentivized testnet will be bug-free. So even if you miss this one, you'll NOT lose the chance to participate in the incentivized testnet.

 Would like to clarify for myself , one can move his ADA from exchanges to,  say, Daedalus after first testing snapshot and that coins will be eligible for the final snapshot, right?

NO! You've got to have the ADA in your Daedalus during the second snapshot at all costs if you wanna participate in the incentivized testnet. This first snapshot has nothing to do with the second one or the incentives; it's only for testing purposes. The second snapshot is the real thing.

The first snapshot was taken a couple of hours back! Within the next couple of days, y'all will have the testnet Daedalus and Yoroi to check your testnet balance.

I've noticed that, too. He constantly writes destructive things in various altcoin threads without contributing anything useful to the discussion. Such people are annoying. Put him on ignore list.

I've created Cardano account with Daedalus wallet and address length is >100 characters.
But then I've created account with AdaLite and Ledger, address length is 59 characters.

So why there is different address length when using different wallets?
Is there possibility to convert one address format to another?

Currently the schemes to generate addresses in  Daedalus and Ledger are different therefore the length in both cases  is not the same. AFAIK, there is no such converter you have asked.

Very good to hear fresh news about the staking rewards and what are the different wallets are they going to support the ADA coin, we have been waiting for this many days, after the announcement of POS for ADA it seems to be very exciting for the people who have confidence towards Cardino.
