I know why they do it , because e-btc pump and it is free airdrop , now airdrop is hot trend .
Ebtc just is token build ethereum no special , after pump is dump .

I agree with the both of you. I mean look at what happened with EBTC the price went from .02 to .75 cents and dropped half way over night because of all these other E coins being created. Smart move if you sold last night.
Thats not the reason the price of ebtc crashed. It crashed because of an issue with the code was discovered. Im applying for all the "e" coins. No harm right? |

Yes, a bug with the eBTC code was discovered and is quickly being addressed and fixed by the developers. As you say, no harm, its e-Christmas after all. |

Let the fools buy your coin Yeah, this total "greater fools" territory. I finally read through the eBTC announcement and it's pretty scammy. The entire OP is basically stating that 1) eBTC is a copy/paste ERC20 token that has no similarities to BTC besides the name and token supply, and 2) Ethereum is better than Bitcoin because faster block time, better scaling, better privacy, faster governance and smart contract capability. Too bad I missed the airdrop, pretty massive pump-and-dump. But I feel bad for the new crop of newbies in these times. There are so many more projects, and most of them are much scammier than when I got into the Bitcoin/altcoin scene in 2013. |

I'm still trying to figure out what to think of this phenomenon. Air dropping isn't new but wit all those e-coins popping up everywhere it has become quite a trend. If they will succeed or not is completely up to the market.

Certainly we don't need any of these e-coins..i mean i don't see any real utility coming from them. It's just a fud for fast profits most of all. But i won't be surprised to see one of them rising in the next months and sitting on a good point value for a long term. There's only one thing i have learned after months in crypto : everything is possible. |
