I am almost curious what you are talking about, but I cannot click the illegal affiliate link. I would never push the ASIC's down into silent work. That means that you have either cut the work output significantly or put the unit in danger. The first thing to silence would be the cooling fan and I would never let any computer run without cooling, that is blasphemy. If it works for you, great, but it has put a time bomb in your mining

i made tutorial there so who ever wants it to see it its benefit.

you are right. No I didnt put the fans down, I was tracking the fan and temp use for last month and they work great. L3+ has auto fun adjustment regarding temp of board. Lots of people that have miners at own home or apartment have issues with noise.

There are lots of people doing same thing as I did and works great, if you are doing it proper way.

This works even in a overclock mode

this does not belong here it belongs in alt coins as it is for the l3

the l3 uses way less power then the s-9

this idea will not work for the s-9  you will burn the gear up

unless you put the s-9 on old firmware and clock it to use 800 watts

https://shop.bitmain.com/antminer_l3_litecoin_asic_scrypt_miner.htm?flag=specifications

Hash Rate   504MH/s. A variation of +/- 5% is expected.

Power Consumption   800W +10% (at the wall, with Bitmain's APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temperature)

Power Efficiency   1.6J/MH +10% (at the wall, with Bitmain's APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temperature)
DC Voltage Input   11.60 ~ 13.00V
Chip Type   BM1485 ASIC chip
Chip quantity per unit   288 chips on four hashing boards, 72 chips on one hashing board
Dimensions   352mm (l) x 130mm (w) x 187.5mm (h)
Operating temperature   0°C - 40°C
Network connection Ethernet

https://shop.bitmain.com/antminer_s9_asic_bitcoin_miner.htm?flag=specifications

Hash Rate   11.5TH/s, 12.5TH/s, 13TH/s, 13.5TH/s & 14TH/s, depending on batch. Variation of ±5% is expected
Power Consumption   1127W (11.5TH/s batch), 1225W (12.5TH/s batch), 1274W (13TH/s batch), 1323W (13.5TH/s batch), 1372W (14TH/s batch) (at the wall, with Bitmain’s APW3 PSU,93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp). Expected discrepancy of +10%
Power Efficiency   0.098 J/GH +10% at the wall (with Bitmain’s APW3 PSU, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp)
Rated Voltage   11.60 ~13.00V
Chip quantity per unit   189x BM1387
Dimensions   350mm(L) x 135mm(W) x 158mm(H)
Cooling   2x 12038 fans; Front fan: 6000rpm, Rear fan: 4300rpm
Operating Temperature   0°C to 40°C
Network Connection   Ethernet
Frequency    Automatically set

1372 x 1.1 = 1509 watts for the 14th s-9
1323 x 1.1 = 1455 watts for the 13.5th s-9
1274 x 1.1 = 1401 watts for yje 13 th s-9

all auto set fans and hash rate so your idea does not work for them

the ducts are way too small ,

this works

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2245487.0

but will drop the s-9 to around 67 db due to auto settings
