If the altcoin is created by well known developers and if they have big name in their advisory board and also the product is very important.

no one would just wake up one day and trust in a coin. You do have to believe in the coin first by doing the research on it. Thourough one and see how thier company pages is been organised. Just look at the board of directors and make lots of google search about them. Look at the sole purpose of the project and see if its exciting one. Also i don't believe in altcoins that first goes up first and comes down later . However i like coins that starts gradually and shoot up bit by bit

the company partners in my opinion also need to be considered because if the project has a large corporate partner, it will attract many investors. if the project runs according to the specified rodmap, it also includes good project characteristics.

The first thing I pay attention to is the team, what they were doing before, in what area and whether they participated in such projects. The second is how the coins will be used and how they will be distributed among market participants.

From my own perspective, people tend to favor investing in new altcos, especially altoin from successful ICO projects, as it will be easy to attract whales and potential investors to develop that altcoin and be sure will last for 1 year. And after that they might dump and start searching for another potential project to invest in.

i wonder what makes you trust a new altcoin? what you're looking for in their company page etc...?
I never believed in new coins, hahaha ... I think the new coins are just a scam and can't grow like old coins. still better and stronger old coins. new coins are weaker.

As for me, I mostly look out for the team. If the team is not credible enough, I simply won't invest in such coin. I can then take a look at the whitepaper after on.

In general, I'm more interested in road maps, documents and the real use scenario. Some of the new coins are more advertised and sold massively, even without a working platform.

If I see development and massive updates on that coin then it is worth keeping. I always read the whitepaper and its platforms.

Trust, that is something that is never there. In any case, I will put some exertion into another coin if the dev has a known and demonstrated reputation, the group appears to need to succeed, there is another algo or tech behind the coin, things like that. You need to trust that next you need to put resources into to alt coins. have a decent innovation, have a smart thought and reasonable practice and tolerance. who are beginning exchanging first that individuals first putting resources into to bit coins. next one is different coins

White paper is not enough to analyse the good project so we must analyse the team member and project security features because white paper is not a truthful view so we should analyse everything in directly because many scam projects are increasing in the market.

Many new coins are Scammer
My own test is if is not hacked after 1 years and big sites /wallet use it
To trust a new ICO is we need to find first the reason behind why they create the project. Then it is better to know as well the vision or goals of ICO. Once you able to identify the reasons and their goals, it is good to do background check of the developer or manager of the project. If it is make you satisfied the information you gain ,that will makes you trust and support the ICO.

Probably I pay attention to projects that already have something in stock, for example a test version or something like that, transparency in the project is absolutely necessary, which will not cause any doubt this is the main thing in the project.

Need read their white paper and make research on the team behind it. This is to make sure they are who they say they are.

I don't put trust inside of any coin because it's the Internet. Reading the whitepaper is what you should do if you are a new investor.

When people talk about whether or not it is worth keeping money in bitcoins, they forget about one thing: in the market, there are thousands of positions in the crypto currency. And each of them can have its pros and cons relative to the first digital currency, that is, bitcoin. The way of passage bitcoin from technical genius-creators to simple users, to the mass consumer is clear. And each altcoin will have to repeat it.

I start to trust a new altcoin when I see an investor group of real people and a lot of money collecting, a good website, team members who worked on a project that has been successful before. And also ico dates are important too
