Use the application from Minergate. It can mine many coins, by Monero is most profitable. But it's still not profitable, need many years of recoupment

Yes you can use Minergate to mine on your mobile phone. I don't recommend you to mine any coins because it will kill your phone by drastically overheating the device, affecting the battery. There is absolutely no profit in this and shouldn't be done for any reason whatsoever.

While you can mine on your phone I would highly recommend against it. There are apps out there that will allow you to mine on your phone however they will kill your phone extremely quick not to mention that it’s wont even turn you a profit at all. If you had an extra phone you didn’t mine burning out just to play around with it knowing it will die you could do that.

Why would you want to destroy your phone like that? It's like mining on laptop, I can't think of any reason why mining with smartphones would be a thing, mining on desktop cpus is enough bad as it is, earning you cents per day. It's a perfect way to degrade your battery in record time, well unless you're hoping it dies within a warranty period, or you don't care at all...
you're better off saving for a decent gpu... just my opinion but this is retarded...

But there are already other risks.

Minergate app supports mobile mining.
You don't find the btc mining option in the minergate mobile application or Windows software. It takes you smart mining first and since it is a cloud mining platform none of the money will reach to you soon. They have the transaction threshold to withdraw the mined coins. Mining with mobile and not possible. If you wish to take risk to mine you can do it with the oen wish. If mine continuously it burst also, please beware of it.

Hi,
You need to use specific devices to mine as this process is hungry for calculation resources. Yet cellphones now have a lot of RAM and cpu, they do not have enough GPU to mine correctly. Even if you do the results will not be really satisfying and I believe the apps created in this mean are just here to satisfy the current crypto-craze.

Pretty sure a S5 is worth too much to make it worth mining with. Even 2 years ago, when difficulty was considerably lower, $20 for a mining phone was on the expensive side.

Yes, but it is just not worth it. It is both futile and delivers very little rewards.I'd suggest you get the right mining hardware if you want to do things properly.
