At least you should tell which GPU you are using.

I recommend mine ZEC to 1070. I think this miner better fo ZEC to nvidia https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1707546.0
If you have samsung memory you can mining ETH or ETC. Best miner https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0

Alternatively, you can always keep an eye out on WhatToMine (https://whattomine.com/) and decide which coin is better for you to mine, then you can find and follow their specific instructions and start mining.

That’s the same thing that i am starting with and would recommend using nicehash or looking on whattotmine and see what would be the best coin to start with.  As you learn and read let your machine use nicehash to at least generate some coins while you learn more about how to mine profitably in a pool

If you're new to mining I think you should start with zec(don't bother with whattomine yet), get familiar with it, then learn more about gpu mining and alt coins so you can move on to others coins in the future.
I never tried nicehash but some people say it's simple you could try it.

As of now, its is best to mine zcash for your graphics card. You can also check nicehash and whatomine to have a better look, what coin and algorithm. Then you can use Nicehash miner, it will be good for you as a beginner since it is a user-friendly miner.

Depends on if you are trying to speculate aswell. If you want to stick to the most profitable you can do that, but you will spend more time managing miners and swapping between the few different algos.

Personally I am mining KMD with my 1060s and BTS due to the most recent mining software being only for Nvidia miners.
Edit:
This strategy is mostly because I like speculating and think these are worthwhile over time

By the way, nicehash have good benchmark. This test shows the best algorithm specifically for your system at the moment. And do not forget about gpu overclocking

Use WhatToMine.com or coinwarz.com calculators to determine the most profitable coin to mine. Almost for sure it will be ZEC or ETH depending on card stats (can be benchmarked using NiceHash miner as suggested above) but personally I would recommend ZEN as looking very potent to have 10x increase.

With 2 GTX 1070 you can make up to 0.00075-0.0008 btc by mining Zcash with them with the Nicehash software.
You can download Nicehash software here

https://miner.nicehash.com/

Download the one with NVIDIA icon into it as it is designed specifically for NVIDIA cards. Run the software let it do its benchmark and after that it will start mining. Just put a bitcoin address into it and you will be paid directly in bitcoin.

This is the best software to use for a newbie in mining and even me that have setup more than 50 mining rigs I am using it and have no complains whatsoever.

As a clue, Ice Rock Mining currently mines Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dash, and Litecoin. So these coins are currently worth to mine but this also depends on your personal location. I you live in a hot country and electricity is expensive, you might need to choose other coins.

well im living in PH. and what is this ice rock mining? it can really mine bitcoin. its good. but maybe expensive?
