I lost my confidence too.
In order to have a self-criticism, people liked bitcoin because the price was high. The price of BitCoin's popularity has diminished. People like things that make money. Nobody gets a bitcoin if the bitcoin prices fall further. Everybody forget

Last time I check bitcoin price is still at $8K so I don't know why you guys losing confidence on the market. I would understand if it will go down sub $1K, but from ~$700 January 2017 to $8K this time is still a huge increased that no banks can give you in return.

The problem with you is that you are too much 'caught around the hype' in December 2017. Please understand that the market is based on speculation so as a result it can't go on a continued growth. We should all be thankful at least that the price is still strong despite too many actions for government around the world and FUD's going around.

This is very annoying, but do not be too long to not believe in cryptocurrency, it's your problem how to manage all your money, you get more profit with a clever view of the situation, all also have to own risks and barriers that can break your spirits, I believe that you are someone who always panics and often listen to news media that can change your mindset, make it a lesson lesson do not make you disappointed, I can not restore your trust because it initially depends on your own not to miss the moment moment important.

You've posted this 6 months ago and bitcoin had its ath last december, so if you didn't believe bitcoin that time then you must be gone crazy when it hit $20k and regretting for not believing bitcoin. It is normal feelings for people who are in bitcoin. We sometimes feel that way because we are afraid to lose our money that we worked hard for. We often hear bad news about cryptocurrency in social medias in tv and wherever. BTC prices have been falling, but the price of BTC has been rising in the last two weeks, and the market has become more and more confident.

It is funny this was posted in October and we kind of still see the same cycle repeating. There is no reason to lose hope however, as all these are just part of the market moves and there is nothing we can do about it.

Yeah, it can be annoying a little bit when you see how the market is driven to some extent as the whales just keep profiting a lot from it, but as it seems they are always after the weak hands anyway and if we do not have weak hands in the market, all these would not actually be the case. Of course everyone would be disappointed with Bitcoin or altcoin if they only care about price and not about it's technology/usage. If you think bitcoin or any altcoin price on short-medium term, you should expect the price would be extremely volatile since it's free market can people can be manipulated easily.
If i were you, i'd lose confidence when Bitcoin development is slowing down while altcoin development is very fast and looking promising

It is normal to be disappointed with the price and the way whales go about certain things, but why should we be disappointed in bitcoin ?

The problem is not with bitcoin, the problem is with us all. It is a market and there is nothing we can do with all the fluctuations as they are normal. However, like you have said, losing confidence in bitcoin is total bullshit as it is not like development is not ongoing and the future is still bright but judging based on the present moment or the present value is absurd.

They lose confidence because they know very little about where they're putting their money into. If you expect to make big profit in a short time and end up 50% down, of course you'll lose confidence though you can't blame anyone but yourself for that
