Mostly they want to have there own coins to start a business of there own. To invite people to buy there coins where they can manipulate and make profits directly. Just like the first coins created years ago. And the value now is just so high. Somehow, new coins will give opportunity to buy it at very low and hoping for a higher price someday.

I think they are just trying to make a coin in this potential market even though they can not compete with other altcoins. I think coin makers just want to wait, they know that in the future there will be a capital infusion for the Crypto market to increase the liquidity of all the altcoins. That makes their company's assets grow.

I never thought there can be any sighn of smoke without fire in a corner. No one actually does anything without his own objectives for doing it. Some coins are genuine for promotional and transactionary motives, while some others are truly Bull Shit coins to scam or cheat people. I also feel there should not be any cause for alarm on these coins springing up because they keep the flag of Cryptos flying, but we are the ones that must be alert at all times to filter good ones out the numerous.

There are different reasons why developers created their own coins but I think the bottom line is the same- to earn money.   Basically, coins/tokens are created to raise funds for their projects.  Their project will then introduce to the market together with Initial Coin Offering (ICO).   Investors then analyze their project and if they found it feasible they will invest in it.  If they gather enough funds and the ICO became successful, then the coins will be available in the market.  Through ICO, they can start the project even they do not have enough capital where they can use the funds they get from the investors who buy their tokens.

Even some people think that it is just a waste of time for creating different coins, it is essential for project developers for fundraising purpose and afterward, it can also play a great role after the project successfully established where their coins can be used in the operation of their project.

Well i guess we could not blame them because if you will going to examine the population around the world and if every countries will make their own cryptocurrency or coin then probably what we are seeing now about the number of the coins created is just likely normal. And we have to get along with those ICO because they are also aiming to promote the ICO to get a project as we all know that cryptocurrency promoting a project is base on crowd funding and that is why many are eager to promote ICO to get the crowds fund and to start a project. No need for the capital to start a project.

And yeah, all people wants to make their own money, who wouldn't? Lol. So, the main reason why they create their own coin is to create big money. And I think if their created coin got popular then many invertors will be interested on it and will going to buy it. But then, some of them are just scam. Scammers everywhere. Careful.

The always and only reason is the root of all evil which is money. Some people got serious and frustrated in ICO and invested time and efforts in doing bounty campaign projects just to create their own coins to have money fast.
