Why suffer coming up with something new, if you can take all the well-known old. I may be wrong of course, and everything is in practice, otherwise, nevertheless, the question remains open...

Yes in this bearish market so many new coin and token listed in coin market cap but so many of them just copy others. With so many new coins every day, this is just increase the total supply of all coin and will be difficult for the price of that coin to going up. I think they make again a new token or coin from the old platforn because the old one's has seem to be hard to recover from its market. That's why they make again another coin to upgrade it and much more feature than before, for the successive of its coins.

Crypto is experiencing tremendous growth. each year the price of coins that had been low enough to be high even doubled from the initial price. of course, this is attracting a lot of people to create their own coins with the aim of seeking profit when they increase coins which are quite remarkable. take for example the only clearly visible changes which bitcoin it costs from year to year. certainly, it is impossible if there is no interest in such results.

Most people who are creating their own coins are the most scammers and stealing money from people, It is easy now to make an ICO or your own token or coin, Some users are doing this to support their needs by stealing others funds, Fake ICOs are very common this year, imagine a 4 months campaign and the token has still no value, Some of us here are not only investing money but also investing our times.

Yes, there are so many projects offering the same solution to one problem. I sometimes call it a war of clones 
The main reason is money. I really doubt that all those peojects really need several dozens million dollars for their activities. But people trust them and invest hoping that the coin will be demanded by the market.
