I don't think that you should hold any altcoins at the time of fork as the price of Bitcoin will surely go up after the fork and you can expect a good decrease in the prices of altcoins .
The decrease in prices of alts is certain. The higher the price of Bitcoin goes, the greater the fall in prices of altcoins will be.

there is still a possibility bitcoin price will decrease after the hardfork just like what happen before i think its better to just hold bitcoin because there are more chances increasing than decreasing after the hardfork or buy alot of altcoin now before it recovers.

It is indeed a really good chance to enter the market when its low, i can see even several good icos drop almost 40-50%

Agree. Regardless of the hard fork scheduled to happen once altcoins price is dumping deep down for me its the best time to buy it but of course considering how this certain alt react on market cause if it is a good alt then possibly recover even after deep dump but if its just a new coin with no good background they I wont buy even on deep.

For me, because of the coming fork on bitcoin I will prefer not buy altcoins because almost prices are on deep. So that I prefer you bitcoin instead pf buying altcoins and you can also earn bitcoin gold after the fork in the same price.

I don't think that you should buy altcoin now because I am thinking about the pump we can expect after the hard fork of Bitcoin. Looking at the growth of during the previous fork, the price of Bitcoin can easily be around 5500-6000$.at that time, the price of altcoins will be really dumped and that is when you should go in and buy some altcoins.
I think that altcoins will recover sooner or later and you will be able to make good profits.

Yea, seems we have a nice days for buying alts for cheap prices. But I wait some more and then will buy.

really, the price is now declining. it seems we can buy allcoin with a relatively cheap price. so prepare yourself with knowledge and experience, because if you are less keen to buy. you will not get anything.

No, I'm not saying that the price of altercoins doesn't depend on the price of bitcoin in any way, but I do not think that it is possible to name exact dates here

I couldn't agree more with the author of the topic: everybody went crazy about Bitcoin gold and BTC is overrated for now. What is my suggestion then?) Those who already have BTC should hold their BTC, but all the others should take the advantage and rush at this opportunity to make money with both ICO's and other cryptocurrencies. However, the tough question is the prediction of the future price of all those assets. So what do you suggest? Anybody can recommend a really undervalued or particularly strong currency to invest in? I would agree. But on a day of the hard fork I believe they will go way up, so day or two before the hard fork would be the best to buy altcoin. I'm doing it like that

this was happend in the softfork in july most of the alt went down and those who got the alt that time now have big profit.i think this will happen again in this fork ?
