I think, right time buy altcoin is after november, november is the pump time to btc
Been really thinking about now and that november mate! I know some of them will get pumped pretty quick but I am willing to take some chances. Once the November fork is over, I will just pick some of my list up already if they have not been or being pumped yet. At that point I have been able to get some goodies from the free forked coins and will be useful for the alts trade if I am fast enough. I hope I end up right. |

I changed most of my eth/btc I had into alt coins because I feel I ll get larger gains in the short run.
This is a very good move. I was really expecting to see some little improvement in the value of ETH after the fork, but nothing yet. However, the profit some of this other altcoins that have gotten so low will give after the fork and when they get pumped back on will be more than what I foresee ETH giving. Leaving off two major cryptocurrencies must be a very big movement and I guess definitely I will not take that much big risk with my crypto investments. |

I also think that most of the altcoins at the moment are very undervalued, but for nothing of the world I would dare to invest too much in them. Time has given the reason to those who said that the best long-term investment in the world of cryptos was to hold our bitcoin as long as possible, and I think the price of bitcoin still has a lot of room to grow, therefore I will only hold the altcoins that I mistakenly buy in the past to expect a possible upturn in coming dates, but I will not accumulate more for the moment.
Future is in crypto-currencies, I agree that most of alt-coins are undervalued. I plan to hold alt-coins I choose to buy. I am doing a research about many alt-coins, but for now I did not invest in any old alt-coins. I have tokens from few casinos that had ICO`s recently. Looks like you have some alt-coins that you hold. I wish to have portfolio with promising alt-coin, can you share your opinion about alt-coins, do you have any favorite one? I will appreciate answer from you, thanks in advance. |

I'm personally going to wait it out a few more days until the hardfork and then see what the ETH price has done. If it has dropped further than what it has now I will likely buy some more and convert them into some altcoins that I'm already holding.

I believe that this is a great time to buy altcoins due to the current situation for long term profits. I personally purchased some atlcoins which I felt were highly undervalued at the moment.

News and holiday season always have impact on the price of all coins,am waiting for dump period in Nov and Dec to invest in some coins,which will speculatively rise back early next year

Everybody is buying bitcoin now preparing for the fork. They hope to make good profit from the new split from bitcoin.
Yes it's time to buy altcoins now. I hope at least they returns to normal prices.

Look at the price, what's happening, it's all affect of hard forking, which will be happening in 3rd week of October. But now we can see the reaction of the market. Just wait couple of days more, All Alt coin price will hit rock bottom. It is good chance to buy or invest in alt coin, if you want to get into few new coins.
It's just temporary, will not giving high impact like you said. Besides that, your post is just like scary/ worry person, not like trader/ investor that know there's risk on the real market. Calm down and lets see again your strategy depend indicator you believe. Analyze again carefully and using long time period to see where price action will going. Yes not only is it the fork that is happening mid October but also segwit2x which happens mid November. After these two events are done I wont say alts will shoot back up but definitely the pressure pushing them down should cease a little bit at the very least. This naturally should push some money back into alts unless it gets cashed out of cryptos which I dont think that is gonna happen people love the gambol  |

Best advice is to buy now as much as you can, diversify a bit.
And just don't check prices for 2-3 weeks and bam you will see profits.
Some good ones that are at the bottom right now: UBQ, CVC, LINK, ADX, KNC, OMG.

The majority of us made the buys right before the Bitcoin Gold news came out, unfortunately, so we're all stuck with bags and too little BTC to dip into the market again. I'm just laying low for now, can't afford to do anything, and can't even take advantage of the coming forks. Tempted to cut losses and recoup some losses from selling forkcoins but maybe I deserve to sit back and tough it out. Times are hard on us amateurs.

of course. now almost all of altcoins down today because affect from bitcoin up to $5700 so buy now very cheap and i'm believe when bitcoin down altcoin will be up again If you ask me which alt coin to buy now, my suggestion would be: 1. Ripple - current price $0.21 2. StellarLumens - current price $0.028 3. Cardano current price $0.029 4. Rise - current price $0.25 5. Clam - current price $3.99 6. Navcoin - current price $0.77 7. Lisk - current price $4.99 Good luck  To be honest, to find a good altcoin to invest now is so difficult. Everything has changed too quickly. It seems that there is no rule for increasing or decreasing. In my opinion, I think Ripple and Stellar are some good coins, and their price can go up in few months. Not so difficult really and if you feel the research may be too hard to do, just look at some of the top 50 and ones with the huge dips among them with some little support looking at their performance in the past. I am holding some Qtum right now and it sure has some potential of moving pretty fast. CVC too seems pretty cool to hold. |

It's definitely a good time to buy alts. Too bad I bought long ago for much higher prices. So now I'm just holding and waiting. My suggestion would be to buy the coins you have been interested in but hesitated to buy for some reason.

Yeah you are right during the hard fork all alts dump so hard. The price now is very low(usually) so the time to invest seems to be good.But the question is how abut bitcoin? We still observe its strong growths but because of fork we should have a correction soon so it probably will be the best time to invest.
