Both coins are quite linked as both with TRX. Anyway I think that XLM has more growing potential so I will go for Stellar.

I will put all my $1000 on Stellar/XLM. I am not supporting XRP, why? because they build a coin that is centralized that all banks will support who has unlimited source of paper money to control over BTC and ETH. XLM has a great future partnership with IBM a very big company in our industry for a very long time. Why would IBM will partner with XLM because they see a potential with this coin that will help our economy in the future.

Contrary to popular opinion, I would prefer XLM. Stellar is completely decentralized, unlike Ripple.
I think Stellar may surpass Ripple this year.

I believe that your future depends on Ripple. It's much better than Stellar base on their current price. And not just that, when it comes to their concept, I believe that Ripple got a much better future.

Stellar is not decentralized, it is almost completely, that is ~97 percent, premined. And there are 100 billions of them. Same as with Ripple.

Stellar is on the top now. I would prefer little bit correction before coming in XLM. XRP I waiting on 0.7-0.8 to buy a little bit, also not now.

Ripple is in my opinion one of the biggest scams ever. But that's just my opinion, not financial advise Smiley

Took the words out of my mouth Cheesy The second place goes to BCH Grin
XLM looks a little bit better for me than XRP, but still bad.

The hard thing for XRP is that if banks decide to go with them, they're going to make the three ripple founders extremely rich, something Jamie Dimon might not be too keen on.  Also, for ripple to succeed in money transfer, they have to solve the nostro account problem, in other words companies like Western Union have to keep hundreds of millions of dollars in banks overseas so that when a customer walks into a Western Union agent to receive the remittance, these agents can get the funds.  Ripple does not solve for this.

Would prefer XLM now. Never knew you can also do ICO on this platform. Even if the focus is payments platform, still some additional use for it.

Is everyone aware that in fact XLM has MORE tokens as a total than the so often mentioned `ridiculous amount of XRP tokens`?
While XLM have until now issued less than half of what XRP has brought to the market.

i would go with xlm because i think eventually people will ditch xrp due to it's bankster backing. I'm personally heavier on xlm than xrp

In my opinion, ripple is not a reliable coin. I think it is not giving hope for the future. Its price is just pumping and dumping, nothing much.

On the other hand, I like Stellar's price curve and I think it is a promising coin.

If you have $1000 will you invest in XRP or XLM?

I trust Ripple much more (oh, here I mean sure XPR). Stellar has shown its growth (a great jump) only recently, and Ripple is the system that is used in many banks already. However, listen to this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsS7BCe_Phs

Both coins are very worthy. If you want to invest in a good project then invest in both. If you study the plans of coin developers you will know that these are long-term and highly profitable projects.

Of course Stellar. It looks like a real project, which has a potential and will be developing in future. Ripple isn't even centralised and emision is non-limited - this factors make me stand against that "coin", it's an alien in decentralized world.

Not sure XRP is the right choice due to the supply. It is just to much which means the chance of it going 10x will take some time. I would go for XLM if I had to however probably best to go for a totally different coin with low supply which would translate to greater gains in the long run.

I also don't like ripple but when it comes to a comparison between xlm and xrp, I can say ripple in this case. I think xlm is now in a hype. That's why.
