Both pools are far over 51% of the network hashrates. 

Their monopoly explains the rarity and the fact that they cannot be efficiently solo-mined.

My guess for DigicoinPool is he had a lot of dormant accounts who had moved on. When the DGC price made it's 25% rise today a lot of action picked up on the pool. Nothing he can do about it really. You are making too big a deal out of this.

  What a L00ser ... this guy has no idea how mining works. I mine DGC on 3 different pools and got paid on all 3. The issue is that Big Vern pools are 0% fee and seems that you are getting paid better. And it does not matter if he has 30% or 80% because he is a supporter of the coin. Go mine you buggers dude
