With Altcoins gaining ground once again, it is becoming difficult for Bitcoin to break through. What are your thoughts on the same?
Altcoins are getting back to the show because the price right now which is experiencing a dip due to shifting of Bitcoin for free Bitcoin Gold, is perfect to buy and hodl some potential altcoins. Buying activity usually increases in such cases and so is happening. But along with that Bitcoin will grow too till hard fork if the hard fork you mentioned here is Bitcoin Gold because Segwit2x hardfork might be quite disruptive. Bitcoin should cross $5k by Oct 25 according to my assumptions. Else market is way too tough to predict. Hard fork is now the major thing that boost the price of bitcoin to the next level and I'm afraid that is also what is going to hurt the original bitcoin in the future. Altcoins value grow when the value of bitcoin grow. I think bitcoin gold will be success for it;s own developers as much as how bitcoin cash did. |

At first there was bitcoin cash, now sr see bitcoin gold, can't understand what these people want. Let this bitcoin to be for itself and let us to use bitcoin like we want, without additional BCC and BCG.
I think price will be 4500-5000$ or lower, not higher.
BCC caused panic in people and it didn't lower bitcoin' price, so I believe bitcoin gold can't do anything to affect it. So no need to worry, there will be stable current price.

Difficult for Bitcoin to break through? That's pure nonsense. As we speak, the price is close to showing a 400% increase since the beginning of this year, and yet people act like nothing happened, or that Bitcoin is struggling.
People simply don't understand what it takes to even keep the price above the $4000 mark, which explains why they can't seem to understand why the price doesn't bounce up much more from current levels.
At this point I see no reason for the price to top the $5000 mark in the very short term, having the November hard fork in mind. If it turns out to happen anyway, then the general demand is stronger than I initially expected it to be.

Voted for $6000+ but regret it now after thinking about the new fork, it has no support from any side of the world, I don't know why would any miner stay on a minority chain which is less profitable than the main chain? as we can see there is a storm of clones heading our way, because when people see BCH did it and now another one like BIG Wu is going to do it why shouldn't we do it? I am angry because they're not even launching a blockchain but just leeching off ETH and Waves.
With a billion dollar support for the new altcoin you should expect $4500/ $5000 and with $5 billion it won't reach any higher than $5500.

in my opinion, bitcoin will at $4500-$5000 after fork and then maybe the price can increase more and altcoin from the ground can rise again. its difficult situations for altcoin to increase because many people is holding their bitcoin because they are waiting what next will be happen after the fork and this is makes altcoin to go down a moment. but I am not too worried with this and I still believe that altcoin will increase again after bitcoin reach the higher position and gets stable for a while. |

Right, every time that bitcoin reaches a new ATH there are a swathe of articles that always bring new investors. Still 6k is a few days away in the absolute best case scenario, more likely a few weeks. |

No it will surpass bro before the end of 2017 .but I had bad feelings about this hard fork which is there's a possibility that bitcoin will fall deeper again. Because i think there a lot of traders sell their bitcoin early cause of some reason that it will fall again when bitcoin reached their speculation value. Is that possible that bitcoin will fall again if the 50% of btc holders sell their bitcoin right away because of eagerly reason?

Yes I agree with you that the price will high very soon bitcoin have faced a lot of hard fork and I think bitcoin knows how to handle hard fork because I remember when china banned bitcoin so that hard fork was unbelievable for bitcoin that how bitcoin will come out from that situation but bitcoin not only fight with china but make himself more stronger and popular than ever. |

Right, every time that bitcoin reaches a new ATH there are a swathe of articles that always bring new investors. Still 6k is a few days away in the absolute best case scenario, more likely a few weeks. Yes we're actually near in $6000 this week like we almost touches it and now the price plays in $5700 and it's still profited to all of us. If we hit $6000 before the hard fork so we can assume that the price during hard fork will be around $6500 and with just a little correction because of the big whales but surely it can cling in that price. |

I think it will increase after the hard fork only till then it will consolidate at 5700$. Many people are not bothering about the BCH, Bitcoin Gold, there bothering is what is the value of Bitcoin after Oct 25th. We have to wait and see how the market is going to react after the Hard Fork. |

I think the hardfork will decrease the BTC price. Probably from a new ATH. And that altcoins will bounce is very likely. Question remains which of them, as I doubt all will bounce, and how much will they bounce. However as soon as we got some clarity how China will treat Bitcoin and cryptos in the future, and LedgerX enters the stage, Bitcoin could easily moon again! |

The after the hard fork, we can expect the sudden pumping with its value. Hard fork will also affect the altcoin value, its actually dumping now maybe because people are exchanging it with BTC for the preparation of hard fork. But it will definitely rise its value after the fork.

I think we are only going up from here until the segwit fork.
explanation: people are buying in bitcoin now to get free btcgold---->people expect it to be like BCH and and for it to be worth around 600$. ------> People get disappointed in BTCgold actual price-------> Big dumping of BTCgold to BTC.=BTC keeps raising.
That is what I believe but hey, who knows in this world.

IMO the price will be between $6-7K, due to the fact of people wanting Bitcoin Gold. They saw how Bitcoin Cash was awarded the last time and they dont want to miss out this time. Then Bitcoin Gold will get dumped for BTC. This in turn will cause the BTC price to go down as people will sell what they made from Bitcoin Gold into cash, as it was free.
