I don't know which altcoins you hold because most of altcoins  will fail and only few that will survive. If you mean litecoin, ripple, ethereum, they’re too big and well established to disappear completely. The other smaller coins pose a much harder question as it relates to their longevity. So,  just sell your altcoins if you don't believe enough in their future potential.

Because you don't use any strategy that you can earn profit from altcoins and altcoins have future because a lot of them have potential in the future rather than bitcoin so keep patient on it.

I think you picked a very bad timing to buy altcoins. So they are all in the minus, because the prices have not returned to their indices in December 2017. I hold a few coins bought at the time. They are in a big drawdown, so I will wait for the next pump.
