I think altcoin has a better future for now, and maybe we've just made some bad decisions trying to participate in a good project, but I see Bitcoin being more impressive, new transaction and payment methods, but Simpler than that others, Distribute news about btc, ppl will start using it, because they will not use it if they do not know what bitcoin is. for now, just bigsiness using btc. but if we start making btc better known, i think more people will use btc.

Altcoins are very profitable, you just need to pick the right one. You have to buy it at the right time and sell it at the right time. If you keep picking shitcoins then expect that there will be no future from it.

I have seen there have been various recommendations to your question and I wanted to give my piece of advice in case you still look for an alternative.

• Use stop loss after you buy in a crypto. This way you would be able to sell your altcoins at a minimum loss. Google search for stop loss but you may find the below article very helpful which is written by an experienced crypto trader:

• whenever you realize a market movement going down, sell your altcoins. When market stabilizes at a lower level you may buy those specific altcoins at a lower price which will improve your position on that altcoin.

Of course, alternative currencies have a future.
Bitcoin once wasn't very popular too, and lots of people questioned about it's future.
Even now.
So, instead of asking such questions, better look at white paper, team, project, product etc and then you'll be able to figure out if a specific altcoin has a future.

In spite of the fact that after the fall of bitokin yet the cost of other cryptic goods is decreasing, it is worth remembering that this will not always be the case. Recently, there is an interesting trend - the bitcoin rate fluctuates incredibly strongly, then decreasing, then increasing by 2 times.

Obviously only some of them will survive. I believe in IOTA, ripple, dash, litecoin. Will invest 10% of my speculating money (which is 10% of my savings) into altcoins. Rest to ETH and BTC.

I believe that Altcoin still has a good and promising future. Until now I still hold some Altcoin which I think has good potential in the long run. So I suggest you to permanent holding Altcoin that you have today.

now so many  altcoins that it is very difficult to understand all of them. Altcoins do not have enough people's faith .. And most importantly, there are many altcoins! And even if the people's faith is large enough, it is simply divided into the total number of altcoins. Accordingly, each individually lags far behind Bitcoin.

Investing in Bitcoin is a safer option, but the growth in Altcoin is tremendous and quick. There are many Altcoin which grew around 1000% in 8 months. With such profit, risk follows. While Altcoin is riskier when compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin has a stable growth & drop, but Altcoin growth and drop is exponential. I think you just need to look for a very promising altcoin but no one can assure that it will ne successful. But I think altcoin has its own place in our society, it just need to prove itself and not try not to be dependent on bitcoin. The main rule is to buy at the bottom when you the chart hit a support and sell when you are near  a resistance, if you don't made profit in 6 month following this rule you have a real problem, try to determinate it and fix it but never give up. Invest and be patient.

It depends on your style, if you're the kind of person that preferes to hold the altcoins then its probably better to buy different types of coins and hold them but you have to get used to the ups and downs.
