A lot of them depend on the price of bitcoin right now. But I believe there will be a day when they are independent and not depend on any bitcoin anymore, altcoin will be in different worlds.

one of the ways to have a good profit through altcoins is by participating in ICOs. also take note on project duration please. Meanwhile, their is a huge profit in altcoins sometimes, patience is the key. But above all, choosing the right altcoin or project matters a lot.

You do not need to specifically measure how long you will store a coin. I usually constantly monitor the price changes for my coins. As soon as the price has risen to the required level, I sell.

It depends where. In most countries, Banks give 0,5 interest, so altcoin even providing 5% per year should be a great opportunity and as crisis fell down, this would be a great moment. |
