This fork is the reason exchanges are on a downtrend lately. I find it very disruptive to the economy. No matter how you look at it, its free coins so people, like myself, jump in on the prospect of getting as much as we can. But im guessing this will get dumped immediately due to the next hardfork segwit2x.

So, in short, Bitcoin Gold does not bring anything new on the table? It's just a ZCash version of Bitcoin and a 'get rich quick' scheme for developers?
The last time I checked the code didn’t have proper replay protection so… No thanks! Nobody should risk losing their very valuable Bitcoin over this, imho.

Frankly, I answered 'I don't care' to the poll question.

I am not sure what is going to happen, but I prefer to collect some altcoins when their price becomes lower. They will increase after fork, in my opinion, and it will be more adventageous.

I would say the BTC will still be the BTC, and the Bitcoin Gold will be just one of the normal altcoins.

It's just a game to make profit.

Its more decentralized then Bitcoin Core, with using the equihash algo.

Yeah but that's not really true is it? There are huge GPU mining farms which will potentially do the same as ASIC farms do right now with btc.

I'm not impressed with bitcoin gold. It will be the same story all over again as with bitcoin cash. A pump & dump, then out of the spotlight.

I won't buy bitcoin gold and will try to dump it as fast as I can. But I like the congept of GPU mining. It will bring new possibilities for altcoin miners for sure if this is not scam.

I wonder what your confidence is based? All we saw after the fork appeared Bitcoin is cash, and what you see in them the future? It seems to me that bitcoin gold will be even worse. I remain a supporter of BTC. It has proved its vitality and it is for me, the main indicator for any currency.

I know a lot of people try it straight away.  I also keep myself difficult. Is it worth taking the risk?
Bitcoin gold gives me a feel like past is repeating itself. Sometimes I feel like it is a sibling of bitcoin cash and I hope this is not going to be the case. Some people have also labelled it as a scam and not many are showing trust in this upcoming fork.

Buying it won't be a mistake as far as it is not purchased at the cost of bitcoin itself. Sometimes, I feel like people have become tired of the forks.

BTC Gold would be profittable if the exchange sites give the same value with balance wallet BTC as they did it in BTC Gold. But that means prices of altcoins would prepare to dump. Because most of invester likes that free money from BTC.

I'm not really convinced about Bitcoin Gold but maybe i'm wrong. I'm curious what you think about Bitcoin Gold so feel free to vote or share your opinion here.
Bitcoin gold was just like  another altcoin out there , It may have a value for some time but in the long run I don't think it will last and will become a deadcoin , so as soon as I received it I will dump it again on the exchanges and change it for some bitcoins

The same value as the did with BTC Gold? Do you mean Bitcoin Cash? People holding bitcoin will receive the same number of coins in a 1:1 basis but the value is absolutely not going to be the same as bitcoin and HIGHLY unlikely it will not have the same value as bitcoin cash.
