Looking at the poll up there is eye opening . 39%  thinks bitcoin gold is crap, 20 outrightly don't care about it. So the question that come to mind is, who is buying bitcoin ? Because everyone keep saying the speculators are the reason for bitcoin price.

They buying to grab some bitcoin gold on the fork and might definitely sell it right after they redeem it. Thats how it works,a little hold for now tgen dump later.

I have a lot of faith in Bitcoingold and I think it will succeed. Many people for Bitcoincash were disappointed because the price was too low and did not rise. I pray to God that it will not happen to Bitcoingold.

I too think that bitcoin Gold will do much better than Bitcoin cash (BCC) but still i have doubt that it can pass the bitcoin original.

You know! A lot of people were talking about bitcoin before sometime that the use of bitcoin will decrease after the releasing of bitcoin gold (new currency) and the price of  bitcoin will goes down but I think they are totally wrong because those people who see their self and believe due to the bitcoin they will never leave bitcoin and invest continuously whatever what happed.

It may start with the bang hit then people getting it free, they all will surely dump the bitcoin gold for the original bitcoin, making bitcoin prices more higher than before. and making bitcoin gold less valuable.

Bitcoin Gold (BTG) plans to hard fork the cryptocurrency on October 25, creating another version of bitcoin in the process. The project was first made public back in July and was created by Jack Liao, founder of Lightning ASIC, a mining firm from Hong Kong. The fork will include the adoption of a new protocol that will change some of the consensus mechanisms relating to bitcoin. The result is that miners would be able to go about mining for tokens in new ways. According to The Internet of Money, the new BTG will make use of the Equihash algorithm that Zcash uses, rather than bitcoin’s SHA256 algorithm.
