This is bitcoin is skyrocket these days and I have believe on bitcoin it will going stronger. The higher the value the more demand on bitcoin. People continues to buy in bitcoin and preparation for the hard fork because of this price is increasing.

I really don't think the spike in price is due to Bitcoin Gold but rather people expecting the same thing to happen with this "split" like it did with Bitcoin Cash.  People are expecting that if they hold more BTC, they will also receive more Bitcoin Segwit2x but I'm not sure that is how it will all work out.  We'll have to see!

I don't have a theory but by looking at the charts, Bitcoin surely increases it's value annually and reaching $5000 within this year should never surprise us. Next year will hit $10,000 probably.

Since the beginning of the year 5K has been the target. More and more people and financial institutions are seeing that it is just to large to ignore. There was a good rebound from the China ban scare and further support from the results of China deciding regulation over an outright ban. Bitcoin is here to stay, and has shown great staying power after multiple scares this year. It has gone from $768 to $5000 in 10 months. The upside is too large for people to ignore.

I think of same case with bitcoin cash thats why price these days is increasing. People tends to buy more bitcoin to receive bitcoin gold. Yes lets see what will happen if the price of bitcoin will continue to rise of or there will be a little dump after the hard fork.

relax It will not happen, because the prices are rises due to increase in demand and this demand never become less. Hard fork is just reason for price declining in past. not this time.

I do not see a special reason to observe this current behavior in the price of bitcoin. The strong upward trend that bitcoin has sustained over the course of the year has just been resumed, despite it was interrupted a few weeks by the speculation derived from the Chinese affaire. I have predicted a year-end price around $ 7,000 since the beginning of the year, and I still hold it.

This increase is amazing to watch.  I'm guessing it will go up to 5600 and then there will be a correction there back to 5k mark but let's see how it goes.

This is not surprising, considering that bitcoin is highly volatile, it can go even much higher and might reach 7000 usd next month, this could possibly be due to the airdrop, however, i think more and more people had gotten curious on jamie dimon's publicity, even though its bad publicity to bitcoin, it still is bitcoin, and the acceptance of others as well. i think there are a lot of new bitcoin users today, who are in it for the airdrop, and probably just waited till bitcoin had a lower value in order to invest, and it could also lead to bitcoin surpassing 5000 usd and gaining a new high, i think this milestone, had given us all a lot of opportunities for learning, and let's test it on surpassing 6000 usd, probably by this month, which is very plausible.

Its really a big day for Bitcoin and its lovers to reach this target. We were expecting this to happen a little later, but it came quite soon, and as it seems, the price might end up reaching $7k by the end of this year, if it continues like this. I just sold some of my coins yesterday when the price was around $5.1k, and today it is $5.6k and now i regret why i didn't wait for one more day, and i could have more money right now but these things will always keep happening. We sell now, we feel sorry for ourselves later, as the price will always keep going higher, eventually.

This is great news because in the very first time the bitcoins have already reached nearly $ 5,500 and really many traders have earned big money here. But do not rejoice because I think this is a HYIP. Because we know now that there will be a 2nd HardFork and maybe those who want to get free BTG (Bitcoin Gold). So we expect that after the hardfork will again fall into the price of bitcoins.

As people buy BTC for profit, or for the fork there is a hype and more people come to buy and less people sell, as they like to keep the coin for the forks and thus the price rises more and more...

We are destroying all sell walls and we are few miles away from 6000$
I hope today we will see 6000 price for bitcoin and this is just a begining.
After a month we will see a correction on altcoin side then everything is clear.
