It would be of no sense if someone creates a currency which is just the same with the existing ones. Maybe despite some similarities there should be something not similar that makes it unique and perhaps even better than the old one.

bitcoin is a token issued from a blockchain which makes it quite secured to a large extent in the sense that it cannot not be forged, duplicated or manipulated. bitcoin is different from other currencies in various ways such as; it has no central authority or administrator thereby giving you absolute control with no government interference. it is subject to inflation due to scarcity caused by artificial limit. bitcoin transactions are made online and the transaction fee is relatively low

i think the very obvious reason why bitcoin is different or unique than other cryptocurrencies is its value.
Except from that bitcoin is harder to get than other cryptocurrencies, how can i say that? simply because

yes really, and in my opinion is not easy to play bitcoin, it takes patience and special tricks and strategies to be able to execute it with dollars. so it's not as easy as they say, it takes hard work and process.

I think what makes bitcoin different from other currencies is Bitcoin is electric money and bitcoin can not be set by the government or in the school by the government. Bitcoin can not be faked like the original money in each country.
