Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

If you already lost 80% then you should just hold this coins because they would go back up eventually.

At the time of your posting, Digibyte went down more but as I can see before, it was pump hard before going down and there is a possibility of it going back up again. It is in accumulation stage right now and if the team is still active then it would go back up.

There are many investors in Stratis and they have a good project but because of the delay of their plans and failed promises, many are disappointed and sell off their coins but there are still many who are holding and it is going back up. If you check the chart, it had a bull run in June and if you hold to the coin, whales may pump it again.

There is not that much movement in Siacoin but they are very active. Price now is very cheap. You can have the option of adding more to your bag so that you can average down. Alts cannot really made a major move nowadays because bitcoin is having a bull run.
We do have the same view and comments when it comes on those 3 coins which I can still see the potential that It would be pump on next year this is why its much better to hold off than on sell it on loss.It wont really worth it.Diversification is good but OP did make a bad timing instead on putting or converting on alts its much better that he hold off his bitcoin and now he definitely have profits as of now.

we will never know what will happen, because all we can only guess for the ups and downs of prices. all need patience and thoroughness, if we are not patient for now then the future loss will come. I also like that, get alt with a very pricesmall, but that's all I consider my savings to the fore

unfortunately I think that will be a common situation for tokenholders in 2018... If several big ICOs will start to underperform (less than expected technical progress, revenue), the whole ecosystem might be affected.

Holders always ignore risks of short term price impacts on market and focus to long term growth ratio. Converting and shifting all protfolio to altcoin is not always good idea depending on the case. If person knows what is looking for then should accept risks across profit.

Just hold it. I believe stratis price will pumped up in the near future.. Also, I think you should set a point while investing, let's say if you invest it when the price was 0.001 btc each, and if some bad thing happend and the coin dropped until 0.0007 each, I think you should sell it immediately. This way you won't suffer too much losses.

I think the smarter and better position is to hold on to it. I am saying that move considering that you have already waited and has actually endured in waiting for the price to be up. Since you're in that position already, why not do other stuff that could make you earn while you are in waiting for the coins you bought to actually catch fire and gain a good price point to be substantial or enough at least for you to gain profit.

I feel bad for OP, he sold all of his bitcoins for altcoins, he is now messing up and blaming himself I guess for witnessing bitcoin at $10,000. This is what I'm telling that if you want to invest in alts you should secure yourself and still have some bitcoin on your portfolio. That is not a wise thing that you will sell all of it and now you are messed with a bad decision, think many times before doing like this.

I believe you have your reasons for purcahsing those particular coins because I truly presume that you might have monitored them greatly and know their worth before buying them. So I am in no position to judge or blame you.
Though I have never gave it a thought to buy either Digibyte & Stratis nor Siacoin but I believe they might still grow like the popular bitcoin.

My opinion is for you to hold on to it for some time but not too long. As you hold on, find another means to purchase either bitcoin or etherum which I think is better.
While holding, if you feel you can't hold onto it anyone, sell them and purchase etherum or either bitcoin which still have visible better future.

These past few months were pretty awful for alts in general. Really if they could hold their relative bitcoin price that was the best thing to happen as it would be so difficult to make gains with bitcoin's crazy rise. After the bitcoin craze slows down a little bit once the $10K barrier is broken, then we should see more money go back into the alts when everyone isn't expecting such a huge pump again. The instability has just been crazy recently.

It's better to hold than sell it then lose too much. Selling will not do anything good because I know that there will be a time that bitcoin will either have a correction or stabilized and its growth will slow that will give chance for altcoins to recover or gain more.

I think bad idea if used all Bitcoin to buy altcoin because Bitcoin is strongest digital currency, and 80% portfolio should be for Bitcoin. But for now I think you should be trade it first, sell that altcoin when going up little bit and buy others altcoin where that altcoin has strong fundamental and buy it when in the deepest like ETH, DASH, WAVES, NEO, XMR and do short trade and take profit maksimum 25%,  day trade will be more safe because price of Bitcoin strong bullish now. With patienly and dont greedy I think you can get your Bitcoin back.

Don't lost hope buddy wait for the right time before you sell your coin. Just hold it first and wait for the value to pump. But if you hold your bitcoin until now instead of buying some alts. It is bigger now than before.

Altcoins will have their time don't worry. Just hold on to them and when one alt goes up sell them off. Just keep at it and then when everything is in bitcoin sitback and relax while it surges upwards!

I don't follow the development of altcoin you buy. but you should be patient and hold it for as long as possible. these few months bitcoin always goes up with all sorts of scenarios. I think the year 2018 will begin to increase altcoin time. my prediction, if the bitcoin next year is stable then altcoin will rise.

OP, every dog has it's day, and so does every alt. You can only lose if you sell! We have all been in a similar position. I sold my ETH during the dip, and now it is back at almost $500 Shocked

If you really believe in your altcoins that they will have really great future then there is only one thing to do is just waiting enough. Trading is very difficult if you cant wait enough.

You never loss anything unless you sell your coins. So better wait more.

Oh my, that's a big loss there mate. You just had a bad luck, i'd say try and come back, you should have just bought bitcoin or litecoin or dogecoin, there is a lot of good coins with better performances through out the year. You should have carefully take a look out or studied the one's that you have picked to buy in. Just a personal advice, you dont wanna sell it now because you already lose your profit, just try and make a comeback.
