There is just one thing for to do in my opinion, we must wait for rising again. Unfortunately we were not prepared for such like bear market and lost much bitcoin like you and waiting for good prices again, I hope etf or other news can do good effect.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

now there is no point in selling your assets at such a small price. hold them for a long-term perspective, these coins will surely still be able to grow

From experience there is no way Altcoins value will keep up with that of Bitcoin with time, look at Ethereum and NEO two of the most successful ICOs their BTC value has continue to dip with time. WHat people do now is to look at the fiat performance of your portfolio  if you are trading Altcoins if not just stay in Bitcoin

What I would do in such a situation is really to just wait for the coins at least to go back to the original price that they were before. It is really a waiting game at this point. And also I would not going to waste all my energy keeping tabs on my lost investment because let's face it - I failed on them right. Might as well move on to other coins.

Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

You have already lost 80% of your coins, and IMO you should try and save the remainder amount. At least convert half of what is remaining back to Bitcoin. I don't know how much you own, but just hope for a spike in the BTC exchange rate sometime after 2-3 years and hold on patiently until then.

The end of 2017 is a great year for bitcoin and altcoin, but why are you losing 80% of your assets? You have already lost a lot of money, so if you do, then you are no longer losing money and have a lot of profit because in 1-2 of 2018 the value of altcoin increased dramatically

I advise you to sell all the cheapest. It will not grow, and good projects to leave in your portfolio for 3-5 years

Ask yourself the only question. Are you satisfied with 20%? If there is no answer, simply lay these coins for a long time. And then maybe you can not earn this badly. Sell now is not worth it.

Yes, many altcoins have fallen in price by 10 times, and there are those that are 15 times, but this does not negate that there are projects that have fallen so much, they are very promising, and during growth will give a very powerful and good profit, so I recommend to keep altcoins until they grow, but they should grow even more

most people actually panic sell, even though it doesn't affect him. it actually worsened the situation. Don't be too afraid of falling prices. study and analysis of the decline in the value of selling coins whether the cause.

There is nothing left but to just try to wait, because altcoins will definitely be able to rise in price to the size that they previously had, but we need a lot of patience for this. So far, we don't have to do anything about it.

Wait! Just hodl until the selling price you want is reached. Don't sell when the price is too low because you will only get more losses rather than gaining profits. It's too early to jump off the boat. Just hold until you can because prices today will eventually pump by December.

Good solution for me is shorts at that time. At the falling market, I made constant shorts and increase my portfolio in the coins. I can make some BTC but it's my decision to make more altcoins in my investment. And of course it's a coin that I consider it promising. Early it's ADA. Today it's DACC. Why? Because today it's cheap but their roadmap has so closed big points. And while coin don't have big exchanges. http://dacc.co https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dacc/

If you put them off for 5 years. You may become a millionaire. If you sell them now you will lose everything. Of course only you decide. But I think now is not the time for sale.

in my opinion there is something that can be done besides waiting, namely doing trade on the Indodax market. there are lots of good coins for trading, even though it can't completely restore your loss but it can treat your disappointment a little.

I tried selling some at -90% a while back and so far I am not rewarded for my decision. I mean, you sell at a huge loss and buy something else, but in most cases that dips too until the bull comes back again. I was too late in selling for btc, so as previously mentioned, it is a long waiting game now!

Bitcoin is the parent of all altcoins, and unfortunately the price of bitcoin has dropped since January, this certainly makes altcoins prices drop, when bitcoin prices drop 60% then altcoins drop by more than 90%, this is what makes us cautious.

I think it depends on the altcoin you buy, if they still have a strong market then this is about waiting game as you say, but if the price continues to weaken and the market is collapse, then it would be better if you move on to other coins, do cutlose and fix your strategy

The same case as I experienced, just calm down, don't panic, it's not the time for the coin to go up, it's better you hold it and put it above the price when you buy, and my advice, don't look for a few months, so you don't down.
